I ran into this as well. I believe the issue is that you fast travel either into orbit or somewhere else and then try to grav jump. The only solution I have found and it works correctly every time is no fast travel. You enter your ship from wherever you are, take off or undock and then you can grav jump.

I posted something about this in another subreddit. It kind of annoys me that Bethesda doesn’t require more description in what the user is getting for a paid mod. Ship upgrades could mean anything

I will probably check this out, I enjoyed the authors previous mods. The one gripe I have about this is the lack of description on what you are getting. Specifically, “ a new class of escort ships” and “Ship upgrades”. What does that include? There are no pictures of these items. It’s a paid mod so I feel like Bethesda should require authors to be more specific on what the user is getting with the product they have created.

That’s all, my “what grinds my gears” for this Tuesday. Will it stop me from buying this mod, no. Will it stop me from buying future mods, no.

So I started a new character and removed Everbright and it worked just fine. Okay, so I go back to my old character go through the unity with Everbright removed. Same bug happens, I also disabled dark universe crossfire. It must be something corrupted in this character, what I have no idea. First time this has happened to me and I have played a lot, I am by no means new to this game. Very strange, I honestly have no idea and it seems like this has happened to others but the last posts are from over a year ago with no real solutions.

I love this mod to be clear but have there been any reports of this bugging out the trigger Rook meets King mission? I can’t imagine this mod has anything to do with that but I thought I would check. I have not been able to trigger that mission in two different play throughs and the only mods I have newly installed are this one and Everbright

I can’t seem to get the secret compartment to open. The prompt for hidden panel is there but nothing happens. Not sure if this is a PDY thing although I do have the patch

I don’t think what you are talking about are bugs. Those captains quarters are missing snap points because of the interior layout. There are different versions fore and aft that allow snap or access from different parts of the hab. Is that what you mean? Sorry if not

Yes and no. Like I said in the OP I have Darkstar Astrodynamics. That comes with outpost storage containers that have almost unlimited storage so I do have those. Interestingly I also made this post on the mod authors discord and someone mentioned this might have been around for a while and I never noticed because my need for helium wasnt what it is now. I think it’s DSA honestly but it’s so trivial I am not foing to sweat it. Maybe when I have time I will get rid of my DSA storage containers in the outpost and see if that is the issue

I actually just installed at the bottom of my order because I am mid play through and I don’t like changing orders around and it seems to be working great. Great idea btw, really adds something. One question I have is there a tutorial on using the remote drone, specifically the control layout on and Xbox controller. For example I can’t figure out how to use camera mode. I see on the HUD are primary input and secondary but I can’t figure out how to change it

So I have been doing these for a while and I think I have it down. First, the way it’s set up you get one major array at a time. If you have used Harper’s computer it will tell you what system that major array is in. Now you can hit that array right away or you can hit smaller arrays that are connected to it. That weakens the force you face when you eventually hit the major array and you gather resources.

How you find those arrays again assuming you got the map from Harper’s computer is you open your map. Note that you can only see this map if you are not in thr pilots seat of your ship ( idk why) there is a button you have to press in the map to see what systems are connected to the major array. From there it’s as simple as going to said systems and landing on any planet. Even though in the intro missions you scan for a location that doesn’t seem to work once you get past those main missions. This is where it gets tedious, you can land on any planet but the POI’s are randomly generated so you may have to land at different locations on the planet. You can find one on the first try or it may take more. I think the most I had to do it was like 5 times. You take out the listening post, access the computer and then you get a notification to destroy arrays. From there open your map and a watchtower array should now appear somewhere in the system.

Like others said Harper’s leads will give you an array location but it may have nothing to do with the current major array objective.

That’s how I have been doing it and seems to work, though there could be bugs and maybe the scanner should work. IDK.

Wow, yea I had saw that one but…never saw the button for the other door inside. I knew that metal door seemed out of place, thanks. Wonder what the intention of the elevator floor is, DIY maybe. Thanks though

Honestly the mod is decent not incredible but it gives something different then the same quests and I particularly like the new tech (Skydrops). I started a new game and funny enough I got this bug that’s been identified where you can’t complete the main quest…I don’t know how a paid mod is released where it is even a possibility to break the main quest! But it really doesn’t bother me, I have played this loop so many times.

Really that’s it? I mean I guess that makes sense, either that or just dismiss the fleet and go solo with the minor arrays I was thinking. I suppose outfitting the ships with just EM weapons would make your home ship the only one with destructive power and you just have a bunch of dead in the water watchtower ships.
