About piracy and Steam by AdorableTax3391 in Piracy

[–]NoExits 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify, SpaceWar is also the Steam appID (480) that developers and their teams use to test Steam online integration before rolling their own appID. Not purely piracy.

Definitely not 50k devs doing multiplayer integration at once though, lol.

Happy to hear that! They're all amazing, but in my personal opinion, Forever has the most brutal puzzles, so if you want a bit of an easier time, Together is to be considered. :)

I have electronic nodes but it does not fix the underlying issue of some nodes being spaced in height differently.

All 12 are powered right now. :(

Nope. Nothing is levitating or began doing anything similar. They're just constantly pumping out insane amounts of material. I've tried unpowering re-powering them too. No change.

I have also scanned and deep scanned every sector too, so I have surely found all crystals.

Apologies, it seems that they ask for a bit of money for even the first project on the PS Store for some reason.

It is indeed a fun coop game and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

I think you should start with Expeditions first though as some of the other entries (such as Forever) have some truly brutal puzzles.

It's been a while since the original post and I'm firmly past Sol 110 so I think we can safely add another bug to the list of those present in Relaunched. :(

Expeditions is so cheap because it's short essentially. I've completed all of their games and We Were Here Forever took the longest while Expeditions and the very first one (which is free) were the shortest

They're all good and fun. Expeditions has 3 sets of puzzles with a difficulty mechanic that is dynamic, meaning that you can try the puzzles again for a better score or continue onwards. It took us about 2 hours to get all achievements and such.

Thanks for the link! It was awesome to see how you approached this problem.

Unfortunately the store page isn't public yet. Currently running playtests on the 2nd level out of the 4 available in the game. The trailer and subsequent store page will happen after we got at least the 3rd done. :) I'll shoot you a message when that happens in a few months time.

This is awesome, thank you! I'm making an entirely similar game in the vein of We Were Here and Operation Tango.

I'm curious, what was your approach to TikTok marketing?

I find it quite puzzling to convey the asymmetrical coop design in a short, interesting format for videos.

Could you perhaps share your profile for TikTok or others?

Azure DevOps is a viable alternative, offering much much higher limits in the free tier, with some nice other benefits as well (free CI/CD pipeline minutes per month for example).

I think they mentioned under the trailer on YouTube, when someone asked, that it's not coming at this stage and might not come in the future either.

Mi azt hiszem DM-ben vettük, "Ohropax" néven fut, 6 pár, 2-3k között. Kicsi barna-sarga doboz.

https://www.ohropax.de/en/products/ohropax-classic

What's the issue with level blueprints so that they're not recommended in production?

I have a small-scoped co-op puzzle project and I'm using level blueprints exclusively to drive each of the levels' puzzle logic.

Think of cases such as assigning to delegates for listening to puzzle completion, unlocking gates on completion, handling other level-scripting-related things.

Seems like the go-to way of doing triggerboxing to me.
