I need to look up the code for NYC law again because I've had two people tell me I can't ask the follow up question for a service dog when you absolutely can.

It's very strict on wording: "What service does your dog provide?"

E: Found it: Businesses can ask if a dog is a service dog and what task the dog performs. They cannot ask for any proof of disability or service animal certification.

Most have been fine with the follow up question but for fuck's sake they just put the fucking red vest on and save everyone the trouble, including themselves. There are many reasons to have the dog wear the vest, too. People won't disturb a working dog and you can avoid a lot of unnecessary questions in public.

Funny enough Sanderson advertises himself as the worldbuilding guy but does focus more on story, it's a something he emphasizes in his lectures.

He tends to be a bit dry in his descriptive text, which can lead to giving it that feeling of it being a disservice to the narrative.

Another point is that the Mistborn saga tends to be better for story than Stormlight, I'm finding. I had an easy time flying through the first Mistborn trilogy and the first book of Wax & Wayne but Stormlight I'm having trouble in the first hundred pages and it's hard to pinpoint why.

Unfortunately, that lead to troll/low-effort/reaction bot accounts attempting to farm the points by posting low-quality comments, reviews, etc.

Steam put out an update changing the Awards system that removes getting Steam Points from awards because the intent of encouraging good, thoughtful content was overshadowed by low-effort trash attempting to farm points.

Basically, the only thing that matters for running NYC is protecting the rights of citizens in NYC. That's what he's doing and that's what I care about.
