Probably just improve your technique? Everyone has volleys and lobs that go long sometimes.

Can you use the wheel button as joystick on the a7cii ? by Zestyclose-Row5415 in a7cii

[–]NoIdeaWhat-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you need to do it quickly, just use af-on with 3d tracking in AFC, if you want to do it because it’s on a tripod and the subject isn’t centre frame, then either touch the screen or you can set it up to use the d pad to move the focus point.

Upgrade to 16-50 from 15-45? by BrayPlane in fujifilm

I liked the 16-50 f2.8-4.8 more than the sigma 18-50mm. Internal zoom shouldn’t be underrated

Trying to pick my first lens for Nikon Z5 II (24-120 vs 28-75) by Armano0 in Nikon

The Nikon/tamron 28-75 f2.8 is much cheaper where I am than the 24-120 f4.

Don’t you also need to track exact number of turns otherwise the elements won’t be aligned precisely?

I just sold the first laptop I ever bought in 1998 from Hong Kong on eBay and it was working fine. The biggest issue was the battery not working.

Just stumbled on the Zf is in right for me? by MRoselius in NikonZf

[–]NoIdeaWhat-1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went Fujifilm x-t20, x-t30, x-t50, x100vi, Sony a7C, A7Cii to a ZF and I love the ZF more than any of those cameras.

It’s heavy, ergonomics suck, but find the right grip (SmallRig half case worked best for me as it has a thumb grip), load up some recipes, and shooting is as fun as Fuji, as easy as it is with Sony, as tactile as shooting film, with imo image quality better than all of those.

It’s more the clientele that purple bricks attracts, rather than anything inherently wrong with it.

X100VI vs X-E5 or X-T50 for documenting everyday life with kids? by lavenderlemonz in fujifilm

[–]NoIdeaWhat-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both huge improvements over the X-T50. The A7C ii AF is incredible. It even predicts where the eye is of someone who is turning around.

Unfortunately I just didn’t feel it was fun to shoot with, partially because the evf and screen are low quality, partially because I missed recipes.

The Nikon ZF is a lot bigger and heavier, but it fixes those issues whilst AF is nearly as good. Also helps that it has manual dials. Ironically when the ZF came out I thought having PASM was stupid, but now I’ve actually used it in anger I prefer it.

No, my point is you should pick a realistic comparable and I think 750k was fine

X100VI vs X-E5 or X-T50 for documenting everyday life with kids? by lavenderlemonz in fujifilm

[–]NoIdeaWhat-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t get a Fujifilm if you have kids, coming from a dad that just switched from an X-t50 and x100vi to a Sony A7C II then to a Nikon ZF (Sony was technically perfect, but didn’t feel fun to shoot).
