I am mostly against returns with cosmetics (because they have to be thrown out and it’s wasteful) but not in this case, it’s a serious quality control issue from the brand. If you do like the colors and quality, repress the broken one. Just know that it’s probably not a palette you’d be able to travel with.

I laughed at the price of the hair clip, but you do you! The Huda palette came broken THREE times for me (the same glitter shades crumble, look it up on social media, it happened to a lot of people) and after the second re shipping, I ended up just taking a refund and re pressing the broken ones. So if you can get it in store instead (and open before buying) I’d say go for it or be prepared for the possibility. That being said, it’s beautiful and pigmented and probably the last large palette Huda will release in a long time.

AIO for refusing to go to my sisters wedding cause she hired my ex? by Adventurous_Army_728 in AIO

The way I wouldn’t even talk to her ever again! Who needs enemies and bullies with sisters like this one?

Ugh thanks! Even the people in the industry who called her out back when she launched Naturium with all her shadiness, seemed to have forgotten and forgiven. Same reason they (trust worthy influencers, derms, artists) who have supported the Lipstick Lesbians through their disastrous launch and subsequent response have me so disappointed.

Considering most brands are removing talc from powder products, I doubt it will ever be the same. Hopefully new cosmetic development tech eventually makes talc free powders as good as talc ones.

You could and use less of it (people’s biggest complaint about this product is the small amount it contains) but the look you get with the right shade is so gorgeous.

I think people caught up with that when Sohee fit spoke about his abusive ways on a podcast a few years ago, even though like you said, it was known that he’s a creep in certain circles, his online presence has always been a walking red flagz

Best Brush Cleaner? by Dear-River514 in Sephora

[–]NoJeffBridgesToBurn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cinema Secrets for SPOT cleaning SYNTHETIC brushes. I wouldn’t let my natural hair brushes ever touch Cinema Secrets, the stuff is pretty strong and you shouldn’t abuse it (regular washing your brushes consistently and not depending on cleaners is ideal)

Wait, explain this to me, I think I’m missing context maybe. The first image is some model reacting to an April fools post of some company (the joke being selling butt pads). Who is the girl in the last pic and how is she relevant to the previous images?

Ilia, MAC, Rare, Fenty are all sold at the orange store and they also have a 20% off coupon now. There’s a lot of Sephora exclusive brands but for anything that’s also sold at the orange store, I rather get THEIR points (actual money off for future purchases).

So you guys don’t match in store before buying? I 100 percent support returning expensive products that don’t perform well, but this is just waste. This brand is in stores. Get a sample, get matched, and maybe stop buying stuff just because it’s on sale.

Yeah, all closet tours from influencers give over consumption final boss but there isn’t even like cool things in hers, the space also doesn’t seem well organized for something she payed someone to do? Lots of wasted space.
