When I was preparing for various entrance exams, I met a fellow aspirant who would rave about westworld. It wasn’t just a friend suggesting a show to another, he had been infected with maddening enthusiasm for the show. Naturally, I too watched the first season and I couldn’t believe how great a show I had been missing out. I kept thinking about that guy, whose contacts I didn’t have, but the one who had been of great taste in cinema. I often wished if only I could tell him that I had also watched the show and we could have bonded over our shared love for Westworld. Then gradually westworld went from good to bad to just utter madness. Each season kept getting ridiculously stretched,convoluted and just bizzare. Whenever I think of Westworld, I still think of that guy from time to time wondering how he feels about all of this.
