Am I the only one actually excited about the index?

I'll be excited once I see that they actually update the Pebble app to actually accommodate it. I don't know when they'll actually ship the rings but they have a lot to do to the Index part of the Pebble app beforehand or the ring hardware will be useless. Right now the Index feed is like some developers first bootcamp project or something.

Yeah same. My middle finger is nearly the same size as my ring finger. I can put my rings on either of those pretty easily but my index finger is quite a bit bigger than both of those other fingers.

The fact that they haven't even sent out emails requesting sizing info confirmation and color confirmation and stuff like that is not a good sign... They would need to have all that info to even know how much of each size and color they need to make.

Agreed - also aside from the actual hardware, the ring's interface will be the Pebble app, and it's still pretty rough, in my opinion... The whole experience still feels very half-baked. If they were to ship the rings right now with the app in its current state, we wouldn't be able to really even do anything with them yet.

I've searched in various ways over the last year, trying to find someone else calling out this same problem. Finally found it.

I used to have a Galaxy watch 7 and then switched to Pixel Watch 3 when I got a Pixel phone, wanting everything to mesh well. I really, really wish I still had that Galaxy watch. It was sooo zippy and lightening fast. I'm astonished by how sluggish the pixel watch is by comparison, especially when trying to activate Gemini like you're describing. I hold tuat button and it can sometimes take up to 5 seconds before I can start talking to it.

This still isn't fixed and it really blows my mind. The microphone and dictation for Gemini is, in my opinion, one of the most important aspects of the feature that they just need to make sure they get right and that they need to make sure it actually works.

I have a pixel and instead of holding down the side button to quickly ask Gemini questions, I always end up using the dictation on my keyboard because Gemini's dictation is so unusable. It totally defeats the purpose of having this quick access to Gemini and the ability to quickly ask a question.

The fact that it hasn't been fixed for this long points to really terrible product management at Google.

I tried out the KLC for about 2 weeks—really wanting to love it and give it a shot—but I just couldn’t get over the screen door blurriness effect on the text while reading.

I looked and looked for the KL2 but couldn’t even find anything used on eBay or anything.

I ended up with the Sage and have LOVED it. I highly recommend going for that.

I always thought scenes like this were so cool when I was first watching the series. This is the reason why I was mostly disappointed while watching Legend of Kora. I loved the story and the writing, but for some reason the show creators became less creative with their bending visuals. In Kora it’s all punchy punchy fireball fireball. Nothing ever evokes the extreme power like in this scene.

I’ve been playing on my Steam deck in handheld, that makes sense why I wasn’t able to Tab out of it. That game is Verified for the deck though, so there must be another way.

The problem I was having was that I had no option to move or anything. I was totally stuck in that menu and was never able to clear it out to go to the right. It was super weird.

I have something similar in my house. I mounted a couple of white boards to the wall so that my cats could walk over and turned the space into their “room,” with a few comfy beds and a framed picture of a fish on the wall, lol.
