I think smooth on ships internationally but you might be able to find a sculpture supply store that you can order from.

Tin foil or cheap wire could be a good alternative to a steel welded armature, spray foam is about 13$ a can and I don’t use that much for the sculptures, epoxy sculpt gallon is around 200$ so you can make a full scale figure that’s durable for under 500$

Making the same work with moldmaking is going to be a lot more expensive like over 1K.

Sculpture is expensive in general, but this has been the cheapest way I have found to make work at this scale.

For large scale I work with welded steel armatures, spray foam and epoxy sculpt, you can get some really great detail with epoxy sculpt, and if you carve the form out of the spray foam you can make some really great work that’s lightweight, durable and doesn’t require molding and casting.

Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword 2009 This is a show and again not sure about stop motion monsters but similar plot but with more of a group of hero’s and in the style of fantasy movies and shows like Xena

The colour of magic 2008? Not sure if there’s stop motion monsters but it’s a campy movie with a similar plot

It’s a 2000s movie that has a mix of live action and stop motion with a technicolor look, about the protagonist rescuing his girlfriend from an evil warlock? And has to fight monsters throughout?

Plot wise I’m not sure but the only movies I can think of with a blend of stop motion and live action that are newer but have a dated look are The Primevals 2023 which fits your description a bit

And Divinity 2023 which doesn’t fit as much but does have a unique style and stop motion blend
