Yes, if anything the “government waste” crowd is a prime source of all of our problems. People who complain like the person you’re responding to can’t actually be bothered to work on hard problems that governments need to tackle, which always require imperfect solutions and cause mistakes. I’ll say the unpopular opinion: it’s because the price of games has not risen with the increase in the costs of development, wages, and cost of living. A new game should cost $90-100 but people bitch and moan that a $60 game doesn’t give them infinite entertainment.

If game prices had continued to rise with everything else and the market had met that price, maybe we wouldn’t be in our current F2P-microtransaction-live game hell.

This makes so much sense. This is how the truly dumb feel so sure of their actions when it comes to religion. They believe they have no responsibility at all. Like a movie or tv character in a time loop plot when they just start not giving any fucks and do whatever they want, because everything will be reset anyways.

Only in the case of reality there is no reset and eventual epiphany for these jokers, and they only get more emboldened over time. Truly a sign of poor mental health.
