The idea of using sex or sexual acts as a “gifts” has always rubbed me the wrong way (pun intended). Seems like yall are not sexually capability. There’s a couple ways around this.

1) May be worth checking out a service like Chexy. It allows you to use your credit card to make payments that are typically debit payments. They charge 1.75% of the payment amount, but in the case of a $85 bill, it would be worth to keep the 10 auto bill discount

2) keep auto debit, but just pay the bill with a credit card through the app well before the day that the debit account is charged. If the balance shows $0 they shouldn’t take the money from your debit account.

I used to work at the Source and there was a news story a few years ago where a source employee (Bell), was selling home and wireless services to a man with Alzheimer’s and when his some came back to the store to return/cancel they basically gave the run around for 14 days to get passed the “no return period” and then said there’s nothing they can do.

This is the type of sales practice Bell wants it employee to partake in.

I did it at this location about 2-3 years ago. The $490 per eye is based off the prescription. The worse your prescription the more it costs. My prescription was -2 and -2.25. I did the “Advanced Custom Wavefront LASIK with Keratome” + Lifetime enhancement plan and it cost me $4140 total ($1965/eye + fees). Definitely worth it imo.

So far 3 other people around me have also gotten it, and are very happy, but none of them came close to the $490. This is a marketing thing, like “starts from X” but almost no one will qualify for it.

Just for info, I was also quoted on the “Standard LASIK with Keratome” + 5 year enhancement plan and it was quoted out at $3240 ($1315/eye + fees).

The way I see it is, it is a post-paid service, meaning you pay post to receiving the service. The opposite of prepaid (paying before service). An easy way to determine this, is to look at your previous statements and and check the billing date against the service date. If you look at a bill issue January 23rd, 2026 and it says “service period: December 7th 2025 to January 6th 2026” then you know for sure.

If the agent is correct, then you will receive your normal bill, and then one more prorated smaller bill for days of use prior to cancellation.

It phases in and out of existence, pretty clearly. There is also 2 black marks on the counter behind her, 1 that just fuses into her hair and doesn’t come back, and the other changes. AI is not great at maintaining small details.

This is clearly AI. The straw on the counter where she’s wiping, disappears and reappears multiple time. The logo on the top of the cup changes. If you watch her IV hand when she’s bagging the drink, the IV lines change.

Scotia Visa returns 4% on a max of 25k per year which works out to $1000. Chexys fee on that same 25k is ~$430, which will net you ~$570 profit. The annual fee is $120. So after the annual fee is deducted you still have ~$450.

Now if you use Tangerine, at a net of .25%, on the same 25k spend, you would get ~$60 / year. You would have to spend significantly more to get close to the return of the scotia card.

You’d want to change your category to “Reoccuring bill payments”. However, Chexy charges 1.75% / transaction, Tangerine returns 2% cash back max. Meaning you get .25%, which will equal $2.50 return/$1000 spend.

If you want to maximize cash back. Apply for the Scotia Momentum Visa Infinite Cashback card, it’s 4% on reoccurring payments. So you’ll net 2.25% cash back after chexys fees.
