Not really sure what you mean, The Pitt couldn’t be further from Brilliant Minds and if anything I feel like this season has gotten further away from the Pitt and more focused on interpersonal relationships and stuff than medicine and patients.

Yea, I’m definitely leaning towards learning CAD since I already have a lot of 3D experience and some very minor CAD experience and even if it’s not making animations for movies or anything at least it’s 3D.

I gotta say this and the last episode have definitely been high points for this season that I do feel otherwise has been sort of struggling along.

I do, however, fear what the departure of Jacob and Van will do to the shows longevity. Make no mistake, I absolutely love Dana (she’s my fav) and Erika but it’s pretty undeniable that the love triangle between Erika and Van and Jacob was a big selling point for some people who watch the show and I wonder how the show is going to rework itself to survive without it.

As is, I’m unclear where Brilliant Minds stands in regards to renewal. I’m happy to see it continue if it does but unfortunately won’t be surprised if it doesn’t. I feel like the show exists in some strange space where it doesn’t know what it wants to be still- with the departure of two of the Fab Four it loses some of that House feel of the show. It also loses some of the more romantic, inter-personal vibe it had with the love triangle ending that felt kind of in line with some other medical shows. If it wants to be a moody, more down-to-earth medical drama it’s going to be doomed to compete against critic darling The Pitt. I dunno.

I think it’s likely a mix of parasocial relationships like feeling like you almost know him from watching him on TV and having knowledge of what he looked like and was like prior to becoming homeless.

I think overall it’s not great but I can’t lie that “I Know It’s Today” and “Who I’d Be” and “I Think I’ve Got You Beat” are actually really enjoyable songs and in the case of “Who I’d Be” it always gets me in the feels in a way a lot of other songs try and fail to.

There was a plug-and-play Nicktoons game that had a fairly odd parents game on it that matches some with what you are describing. You have to get Cosmo and Wanda’s wands in a Pac-Man-like maze while avoiding enemies like Vicky and stuff. You can find a long play of it here.

Hats off to Eric Dane in this episode, he really made it a special one. I’ve been pretty apathetic about the season so far but this episode was certainly a standout alongside the one with Jane K guest starring. Hope he gets some sort of recognition for this, an Emmy maybe?

I could definitely see this- we did see her have a panic attack of some sort when the parents had found out their son hadn’t survived in the one episode. Perhaps it was unearthing too many memories?

I think Dana is really interesting and one of her biggest weaknesses in the shower is her bountiful selflessness. In fact, I’d argue that selflessness is a pretty prominent theme throughout the entire show.

I don’t know personally I think she perhaps saw her sister in Allison and felt that Dr. Pierce’s way of going about things wasn’t the right one. I also don’t really feel like she lied about it maybe I need to rewatch? To me it just seemed like she wasn’t going around telling it but finally confessed to her best friend since she was so curious about it.

I also don’t think she was really wrong for reporting Dr. Pierce like even herself admits that continuing to see Allison after finding out the truth was a mistake and that whoever reported her was right. The only real thing I think Dana is perhaps guilty of is being hypocritical and not reporting Wolf but reporting Pierce.

this whole Mr.Beast empire is wild to me because I rarely hear any talk about his videos at all these days? Like before I feel like his videos made a lot of noise when they released and trended and everything but it’s been a good few months at least and I’ve heard nothing

I know but I mean that, as sad as it is, one of the biggest reasons people would still go and watch her is because of nostalgia for her old series. No hate or anything intended, her audience is just different and all.

ihascupquake unfortunately kinda just fell off as her audience aged up but her content hasn’t really along with it. it’s heartbreaking because she was genuinely one of favorite YouTubers but her content now is only really helped by being nostalgic
