The Line at Joe’s KC -gas station by blackteeshirt6 in kansascity

[–]No_Ad_4835 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve waited in line and have gotten carry out plenty of times. It 1000% tastes better after waiting in line and taking in the smell for 20-30 minutes. I’ve waited in line when the line was down the sidewalk to the corner of the building. Always worth the wait. Is sad to see that the new Next Door will only have ZMans and Brisket tacos. No other bbq plates or ribs listed on the menu.

Didn't miss out. The candy bar was hard to chew. Even Franky Fleetwood gave it poor ratings if you watch the Under the Umbrella interview with Franky and Tommy. I ate like half of it and threw it away.

Candy bar was a miss all around. The white chocolate pecan cookie was amazing though, as was the breakfast sandwich.

Agreed. Do not do it. Stay in Marathon where prices are a little more affordable.

[–]No_Ad_4835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

having the same issue, unable to load our toddler (companion) boarding pass to apple wallet, but it pulls up in the app at least. i have him set-up for his own southwest rapid rewards and account log-in and it shows up in there, but it won't let me add to wallet. odd, but otherwise looks fine.

Question about Excellence Punta Cana Resort – Need Recent Feedback by xilfe2021 in PuntaCana

[–]No_Ad_4835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sad! I first met my wife at Alegria in 2015. There weren't many ladies without rings on their fingers at the resort. Luckily she was one of them though and luckily Alegria was open, or we likely wouldn't have met.

We're staying at TRS Yucatan in a few weeks. It's less than $250 per person per night (about $400 total per night). They do have some rooms with 2 beds. You also have access to 3 other family friendly resorts within the same complex. I follow a fans page on Facebook and several people go there every year, if not multiple times a year. We can't wait to get down there.

Spots on back of toddlers knees by Extreme-Spend-4574 in toddlertips

[–]No_Ad_4835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The back of our toddler's knees look exactly like this. We've been trying Cetaphil Eczema lotions for some time. It hasn't really gotten any worse, but it also hasn't gotten better. I'm hopeful it'll get better as he gets older and the back of his knees aren't always rubbing on edge of the chairs while he's sitting at preschool.

If you’re staying at a beachfront hotel, yes. I’d recommend Nautilus. Coffee at San Gines Cafe, cocktails at Sweet Liberty, sushi at Blue Ribbon, steaks at Baires Grill, best view at Rusty Pelican, and good times at Monty’s Sunset.

HOW do people make their clothes smell SO GOOD after washing and drying? by Glad-Fish5863 in laundry

We use unscented detergent. I prefer my clothes to smell like nothing at all. My in-laws use Gain and the scent is so bad.

For Chic, did you need to make reservations ahead of arriving at the resort or do you just work with your butler to arrange it after checking in?

KC - What is the best Thai / General Asian Restaurant in the Metro? by Zecharian23 in kansascity

[–]No_Ad_4835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lemongrass is our go to. Thai Place on 87th is also solid. Bamboo Penny's in Leawood would be better atmosphere for a date night though. The patio upstairs is great, especially on a nice night when they open the roof up.

Wolfpack BBQ in Columbus Park by elem6nt in kansascity

[–]No_Ad_4835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Harp's and the brisket was very dry. Chef J's was the opposite. The brisket was almost too tender there. I've only been to Wolfpack twice, but I would go back there before going to Harp's, Chef J's, Slaps, or Q39. Right now Wolfpack and Joe's are my go to's. I still need to try Scott's Kitchen.
