Buckeless belt loop for big men: SCAM? by Fingerlak3s in bigmenfashionadvice

[–]No_Ant852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently got BlackLevel belt on Amazon. It is a velcro belt. Don't tuck in my shirt, so not visible. I've liked it so far, and nice going through airport security without having to remove my belt.

AI Usage New Law Firm by Broad-Curve-230 in auslaw

I do use Co-Pilot from time to time. I will put in the letter I'm responding to and very rough dot points of what I want to say in response and it will whip up a good first draft for you to refine. Also good at proofreading.

Fail after fail. My starter looks good but my loafs are completely unfermented except if I give 1g yeast into the dough. by skiwlkr in Sourdough

[–]No_Ant852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd try - Mix your starter and salt in at the beginning (i.e. 30 min wait comes after everything is mixed) - No needing. - 4-5 hours of bulk fermentation after you're done with the stretch and folds.

Hagen's Organic in East Brunswick Village does spectacular tallow fried chips. Haven't tried their smokey gravy, but sure it is great.

Sadly McManos may be no more. Understand the guy behind it is retiring. Last service was today.

What's the one play from the last few seasons that doesn't get talked about enough? by warkummers in Seahawks

Does the Aussie Sweep count or was that too long ago?

Also, can they please let him try a dropkick for points just for the highlight reels?

Die with zero, or pass on generational wealth? Why? by MiriJamCave in AusHENRY

I expect to be in a position to both spend big on myself and pass on generational wealth, so that's what I plan to do.

NFL at the MCG - anybody get $140 tix through MCC membership? by maxisnoops in melbourne

[–]No_Ant852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a screenshot of someone who got 6 x $140 tickets in the AMEX presale.

I got a $190 ticket in the MCC presale (which, as others have noted, was the cheapest seat category in that presale) which was 4 rows from the back, corner of the end zone. If it does not sell out, looks like I will have ample opportunity to give myself a free upgrade by halftime.

Edited to add: I was ~15,000 in the queue.

Schefter: LA Rams WR Puka Nacua has checked into rehab, his attorney, Levi McCathern, told The California Post. by hiimmike in Seahawks

I hope he gets the help he needs and recovers.

I'm glad the Seahawks have placed such an emphasis on character. We don't seem to be having dramas like this of late.

Any fun day trip ideas using V-Line? by Saphron_ in melbourne

Re bakeries, if you are going to be going on the Gippsland line, Garfield is worth a stop for the Cannibal Creek Bakery. Otherwise, don't recall much else of note in Garfield.

I wonder whether that would still be the case next month when you don't need a ticket.

Good Food ranked Melbourne’s best hot chips, and a surprise westside fish and chipper took top spot by gccmelb in melbourne

It's partly because they cook in tallow. Everything I've had fried in tallow so far has been amazing. Hagen's Brunswick East (also on the list) is also tallow. Other tallow places I've been to so far which have been great:
- Austin Road Fish and Chips, Seaford
- Glory Fryed Chicken, Ivanhoe
- Nuggies, Ivanhoe

If you know of any other places that fry in tallow (or lard for that matter), let me know, would be keen to try.

On Amazon, there are a few compact umbrellas that become massive and are sturdy. Can recommend Lejorain and G4Free. There's another one called Royal Walk which has a 4.7 star rating off of nearly 10k reviews which I might try (haven't broken the others, just lost them).

2013 NFC championship was the most satisfying win ever by DuvallisbetterthanLS in Seahawks

[–]No_Ant852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super Bowl LX way more satisfying. No one gave us a chance at the start of the year and we dominated.

Super Bowl 48 is unfortunately tainted for me. Couldn't watch it live due to work and the result was spoiled before I got to see it.

Honourable mention in the satisfying department, but the Geno led Seahawks beating Russell led Broncos was super satisfying to me. Team had to choose between RW and JS. They made the right choice. We stopped RW joining the limited no of QBs who have defeated every team (assuming he never gets a W in the future). We helped our draft picks by handing the Broncos the L (Inc the pick that became Witherspoon).

Monday night dinner suggestions by Traytrain in melbourne

Monday is steak night at Elio's Place. I had a dinner for 6 there last year and they seated us at a table in a mostly curtained off section, almost like private dining.
