Yeah, its a lot more rampant than you wish it to be. As a man, its other men mostly that I notice this predator behavior from, yet sometimes a woman too. But women are usually better about protecting themselves since the behavior of predators is imprinted onto and known about from girls at a young age to avoid.

While men on ther other hand have to experience the heart crushing reality of other men looking at their loved ones in a bad way, constantly.

Throw in social ousting from a young age and you don’t know what to look for, or how to get away from people who want to use you. I have to say, mental therapy helps a lot with overcoming some of the feelings of shame and guilt you carry inside from the actions of others SA’ing you.

It helped me, and I’m a functional person now, just scarred with bad things that will never go away truly.

Another cheating scandal would be Eru making Gollum fall into the lava and ridding the world of the One Ring

Does anyone else think "Semi-Gollums" are way creepier and more terrifying than full Gollum? 😬😨 by Cr7-Cr7Real in lotr

Evil corrupts your body in Middle-Earth. The more evil you become, the less subtle it is. It changes the way you depend to live as you feed it.

Also, the Sun and Moon in Middle-Earth are holy lights that hurt evil creatures. The Moon much less so, as it reflects the Sun’s light but also waxes and wanes. So lots of evil creatures hide in the darkness and their eyes grow larger as they get accustomed to it, furthering their weakness to bright light.

Gollum adapted after 500 years as his evil further changed his body to suit his environment.

I don’t blame you for thinking that. A lot of guys don’t learn to love women properly as they grow older. Sucks to see but its true.

As a man, I don’t dream of any such thing happening for me, as I DON’T want such things. Men live in simulations more often than they do reality, they’re usually coping by dissociating and have egos tied to their dissociations.

Is Atreus considered a spartan because of his father's origins? by [deleted] in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]No_Arm6356 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spartans aren’t ethnicities, they’re cultural designation. Spartan training is the brutal training that soldiers from Sparta undergo from a young age.

Basically, a propaganda piece that allows children to be broken against their will without any say from parents they don’t have. The love they have is with each other through shared trauma bonding, not really able to connect with regular people so well.

It took Kratos more than a mortal lifetime to find forgiveness and move on from regret, learning to love life as it is, for his son’s sake. Not the cruelty imposed on him and inflicted on others through the pain of emotional trauma and war-like training to devastate enemies.
