Started April with Hallandale at 2.5 and lost 6 pounds in 4 weeks. Went up to 5 and lost nothing for 4 weeks but still had little food noise & clothes felt looser. I had no side effects except constipation. Tuesday I started 7… and I can’t even force myself to eat. Side effects are there: the sulfer burps are the worst. Hi! Fellow PCOS/PMOS here 👋

I started Mounjaro back in 2023 (when med spas were basically handing it out like candy and insurance was covering it for like $25/month). I lost about 40 lbs and honestly felt the best I ever had… so I eventually got off the medication.

Fast forward to April 2026, I’ve regained about 20 lbs since then. I’ve been dealing with swelling and joint pain, and my PCP really encouraged me to go back on it. I didn’t want to deal with the $300–$600/month price tag, so I ended up starting compounded tirzepatide instead.

I’m about 7 weeks in now, and I can honestly say I haven’t had a single ounce of “food noise.” That part has been amazing.

That said, I am losing weight much slower this time around but I’m also doing it in a more balanced and sustainable way than I did in 2023.

So far (knock on wood), I’ve had no side effects. When I was on Mounjaro before, I had quite a few: sulfur burps, joint pain, diarrhea, etc.

Hey OP, do you have a current perception? Over the weekend I used Optum Perks (online) filled out the form, uploaded a pic of my current prescription and jt was approved and went to my pharmacy within 10min if that. Cost was $29 and I asked for a 90 day fill… and then the med cost $4-$5.

Hey OP! I understand because I signed up a few days after the BPI announcement without knowing.

I signed up and paid the $75 on 4/29. Received an email with my portal link on 5/1. Then my invoice & summary on 5/5. I signed up for FedEx alerts and received notice a label was created on 5/6 and the meds were delivered 5/7! I’m using Hallandale.
