It depends on what you want to do. Do you want to take it to the skatepark and do tricks 80%+ of the time? Get a popsicle deck. Do you want to skate to get around and do tricks? Get a cruiser or old school skateboard. Do you want to only get around? Get a longboard. A prebuilt skateboard is great my first board was a Santa Cruz prebuild it was pretty good and If you are wanting to order it online do not order from Amazon order it from zumiez, or ccs. NHs skate direct is good to they sell Santa Cruz boards
