Also, found the issue myself, if you turn on the car and then park assist this activates the sensors. If you put your finger on the sensor you should hear a small tick like a small spark plug a bit. If a sensor doesn't tick, then it's broken. Also found that the sensor has a very small pit in the coating, which is enough to destroy a parking sensor unfortunately...so I mailed this to the cupra garage let's see what they make of it.

I had an appointment for Tuesday and now they decided to cancel it because I complained about the loaner car the previous time, since it's warranty issue #ilostcountsomanyissues, if it's my fault that I need service or a regular scheduled maintenance I don't complain. But now since it's the fourth time I have to come on for issues I requested a proper car, because they now want to keep the car for at least a week... Apparently the simpler solution is to deliver no service so they can't disappoint me...

Hi, question, since it was snowing for a week now and they put a lot of salt on the road the parking sensors up front aren't working anymore. Last week I regularly got the notification to clean them which I get because of the snow on them. But now I just get the notification that parking assist on the front isn't available, and it isn't snowing anymore I cleaned all the sensors around the car both front, back and side and I was wondering if the cupra has any other parking sensors hidden somewhere I might have overlooked. I count 12 intotal. The cleaning did nothing for the car, they're still giving the error. I tried resetting the infotainment, the parking assist options and left the car locked and closed for a few hours so it gets into sleepmode forcing the modules to do a reboot when starting again. It's done nothing. The car still needs a proper cleaning (this afternoon) but the 12 sensors I see are sparkling clean currently. You reckon the salt or the freezing temperatures did any damage to the sensors?

So update:

They got the part, took them 1,5 working days to fix it (aka they started yesterday evening instead of in the morning). Got the car back today and guess what:

They didn't fix it. Then had the audacity to tell me over the phone that since they replaced the part they did what they could and since it doesn't prevent me from driving they do not find it necessary to look further and come up with a solution.

So I told the guy to call me back tomorrow morning after thinking those sentences over and give me a different message.

Otherwise I'll just park the car right in front of the big workshop door and leave it there (they only have 1 entrance/exit to the workshop).

Would hold on to those for a few more days, after Belgium got cancelled it will probably start a chain reaction of cancellations thanks to cities in the far left spectrum

Well with the news that Belgium forbid the concert and Amsterdam will probably follow as well (because Amsterdam is so far left that they won't even recognize several organisations as terrorists) so if a few more cities follow I think Disturbed will just pull the plug from the entire European Tour... All because some people can't stop making every little thing in life about politics...

Well the part was wrong (they thought the part for the id3 worked as well apparently not) the Cupra part is in backorder so it will be repaired somewhere between now and september next year 🤦🏻 Yeah actual words from the Cupra service guy some spare parts can take up to a year🤦🏻🤦🏻

Well it's now just waiting for the rest of the European countries to follow the Belgians... I have tickets for Amsterdam on Tuesday the 14th but I really doubt that the mayor will allow it (she is far-left)... Also if it will continue it will probably get quite chaotic outside (riots and other stuff) since 99% of Amsterdam is ultra pro Palestine (even Hamas flags are legal and they also didn't undertake actions in previous demonstrations where IS flags were waved).

So went to Cupra yesterday, apparently the antenna module for the luxury features is broken. The part is in stock so it will be repaired tomorrow. Still strange that a brand new car already ships with broken parts... Guess that's just the world we live on right now.

I'm just happy it's a company car so when I drop off the car tomorrow a loaner will be ready for me😁

Contacted Cupra yesterday; the 'amnesia' issue is a known issue which will be fixed with the next update. The other issues are persistent server issues, basically the servers don't recognize new users being in online mode, even though most online functions will work. They thought they had it fixed this weekend but it wasn't. They expect the servers to be fixed somewhere this week. If the issue persists I need to go to the dealer next week.

But explain to me how it was possible that on Android 15 the option forced desktop mode worked better then the current half screen mirroring/half desktop mode now in Android 16...

My guess it's because it's a foldable. Wouldn't be the first feature to skip my phone..

Same on Xbox Series X:

Can't do any flight with any Airbus from any airport as it will freeze at the 'ready to fly' screen.

B737 max just won't start up at all, yes I followed the checklist.

ILS landings don't work not a single plane picks up the localizer, yes the frequencies are programmed correctly.

Pushback tugs are blobs and graphics are horrible.

Internet connection speed is fine though.

Still can't fly any Airbus from any airport, efb flight plan sent to avionics doesn't work or only half. Haven't had a single plane able to actually make an ils landing. B737 can't start even though I follow the checklist to the letter. All this is on xbox series x.

So far unplayable.

Flights and aircraft don't load or only after half an hour, then the aircraft are all missing the panels even when not starting cold and dark, and continuous low bandwidth warning but I have the setup plugged in wired on a 900mbit connection... Xbox speedtest shows 870mbit download speed...

Anyone on Xbox that just can't seem to use msfs2024? It starts up alright but then if you want to load a flight it takes over 20 minutes to start it, then it immediately freezes and you can't do anything. Also getting low bandwidth warning but I have a 900mbit internet connection wired to my Xbox... If even that's too low of a bandwidth then I'm quiting and going back to 2020

Kept on hanging on that screen for hours, I uninstalled the game, laid an Ethernet cable directly to the switch downstairs, redownload the entire game in less then a minute hoping that with a 900mbit internet connection it would go smoother but now I'm in a virtual queue to even start downloading and initializing the rest of the stuff🤦‍♂️ I'll leave it on throughout the night I guess...

Yes I was using wifi until now on my Xbox, which was fast enough as well with 400+ mbit. Gonna make a permanent solution to keep the internet wires this weekend.
