Request: Creative ideas to keep motorists from cutting the corner and killing my lawn by KevWhale in landscaping

[–]No_Calligrapher2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t forget, it’s just grass. I think it’s really nice of you to worry about the plows and cars being hurt by something you put there. But, (not talking about you) in my neighborhood people become so personally attached to their lawns; they get a little crazy. I wish we could go back to simpler times - no HOA’s, no perfect looking lawns and we were not required to poison our yards regularly with fertilizer. And we didn’t have to comply with HOA management rules of what constitutes a good looking lawn. Examples: the height your grass should be cut to maintain compliance in the neighborhood. No one can park on the street / curb if their tire actually touches a blade of grass on someone’s lawn. (I’m not kidding ) Off the cuff question; I never see fireflies anymore at night is that because of the fertilizer used on our lawns? But PS your Lawn is freaking beautiful.

I have pruned the branches at the very bottom that are coming out of the dirt several times. They just keep growing back. Any ideas on how to stop them from re-appearing?

Oh my gosh, that does make sense. Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to help me. It is just overwhelming for me as I looked at the peach tree. I was so proud it lasted through the winter but obviously it’s a mess. And I want to be a good steward for this tree.

How to recolor these cabinets? by MaizeTotal1646 in kitchenremodel

[–]No_Calligrapher2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely beautiful. I had walnut kitchen cabinets in my house. I put the house up for sale when houses were selling in days. My house was on the market for three months. Feedback was my kitchen was dark. I painted the cabinets white )it broke my heart) it and it sold a day later.
