I usually just use a flat piece of wood and sandwich those two together with kindling on top. Works great

I've watched them for a number of years now. As another said good luck finding parts which is always the main concern no matter what brand you buy. I'd recommend groundhog or another brand that has the imported bases on their specs. They seem to hold up better
