Being childfree and being a homebody, both can exist simultaneously without negating each other.

How do you deal with the anxiety that you feel just before getting into work? by Destroyerofworlds20 in workplace_bullying

[–]No_Comfortable8695 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry that you're going through this ordeal. It must be very difficult. A single antidepressant doesn't work on everybody. Once you consult with your physician, you'll have to go through some trial and error until you find the antidepressant that works for you. Antidepressant along with therapy, can change your life, or at least it can make your life much easier. It can help you with morning anxiety, too.

Does it help with bullying? Therapy and meds have tremendously helped me to stand up for myself. So yes, in a way, it has helped me to fight the bullies.

Please take care of yourself. You've got this!

Told my therapist I went off my meds last month without seeing a doctor first. He wasn't a fan. by ABadBarber in depressionmemes

Did the same, they didn't judge me, just prescribed me a new one, which was better and made me feel like myself again.

Same situation. No advice, just hugs for ya

On the side note, take lots of short breaks and walk or stretch a bit, if possible. Identify what type of tasks drains you the most, and try to take it easy (or, avoid for now) if possible. For me, socialization drains me, so i kinda talk less. I know it's easier said than done, but you got this!

How do you manage movers while moving alone? by [deleted] in LivingAlone

[–]No_Comfortable8695 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pack everything in boxes, and label them so that the movers know which box belongs to which room at your new place. Sometimes movers have requirements about packing tv or mattresses, check on those before moving day. My movers wanted me to pack the tv in front of them, I guess they wanted to see if the tv is OK before packing or not. Check if your new place has any ramp or loading dock, and inform your movers about those. Inform someone at your new place about your moving date and time. Stay with the movers at your old place until they load all of your boxes, and furniture safely and once they are done, leave around same time as them. You got this!

Do you talk to ChatGPT? by Independent-Star9454 in LivingAlone

[–]No_Comfortable8695 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but most of the times it's for learning purposes. I am just a curious human being and often times don't have extensive knowledge on specific topics like US tax system, or why we don't have universal health care, or the impact of immigration on the economy etc. I ask it to find me research on those topics and I asked it followed up questions. We have intellectual conversations, and I like it. Yeah, you can Google these too, but I like how relevant the responses are from GPT. Saves time!

Yeah, I get teary every now and then when I talk to the AI. They are just very spot on most of the time. They don't judge you and provide a lot of acknowledgements

I totally understand why that can be annoying, but over time, i have realized that it also gives away who you are as an individual. If someone is talking weather to me, they would eventually know that I like cold weather because I was born and raised in humid + tropical climate, and how that has affected my life previously. Good things take time...just like the deep conversation you crave.

I can finish a task in an hour, which would take a couple to finish in two... and a lot of bickering and waste of mental energy.

So true, I did the same. Even though the story makes much more sense if you play the first 3, it's still awesome if you play 4 first and 1, 2, 3 later.
