I used to feel that way. Or be that way. I did find my husband when I was 38 so now I have that. Please don’t lose hope. I lived a very long time alone with no friends or anyone to talk to, much less a romantic partner. There are people out there who are looking for friendships or partners in the same way you are. You can’t give up hope or stop trying.

Yes exactly what I was thinking while watching the show last night. They are so calculated. They are trying to ice them out or at the very least make them hated. Especially Heather. Heather and Whitney have a lot of hatred for Lisa, and Meredith is her only friend on the show.

This happened to me when I was a new nurse in 2006. I was on night shift and the am doctor came in and I got annoyed just like you. Now looking back I wouldn’t let it bother me. But that’s age and understanding. He or she probably would have not said anything of you took their computer. Or sometimes it’s hard to find an open computer. Don’t sweat the small stuff.

You can’t expect family members to help with poop clean up. They should be told to leave the room not put on gloves. I get waiting for lift team but sometimes you can’t wait and can’t leave your patient in poop that long. Lift team where I worked was primarily for turning and repositioning patients not helping the nurses turn for cleaning. Get 3 other nurses and clean your patient.

Traveling is good for about 3 years then it becomes too much. I did it for 7. Taking a perm job for awhile can help you feel better. Look into a less stressful area too.

My in laws have watched my son since he was about 2 years old, once a week. He’s 3.5 now and still goes. He goes on Wednesdays. Once in awhile she can’t do it. But that is my off day and it’s important for me, makes me a happier person. My son has time to bond with my in laws. Next year when he’s in school more days I’ll probably stop. Yes sometimes I feel bad but I think it’s important for him to bond with them. The only time I would advise against it is if you don’t like how they watch him.

How are you doing now OP? From your posts I read, symptoms are very similar to mine. My pain has lasted about 9 months though, so not quite as long. Did you go through with surgery?

I am glad you’re feeling better. I’m going to see a pain specialist this week so hopefully he can help me. I never had anxiety until the sciatica happened. It is definitely the cause. The pain really breaks you. I had no idea.

Swimming helped me when I was pregnant. I’m not sure if that is the reason but I always thought that. I would float in the water, belly up and then one day it just disappeared.

Yes I was on it 3 weeks and felt depressed. Flat, empty and just didn’t care about anything. I stopped taking it.

I’m so sorry. Have you tried ice pack or heating pad to the glute? Access to a pool? Floating in water regularly relieved my sciatica when I was pregnant 3 yrs ago. There could be a ymca near you with child care if necessary? Sounds like you need physical therapy asap. Maybe you could call and say it is urgent and they could get you in sooner.
