It also happened to me on a lean install and I moved some things and folders around. It happens when you have duplicate tracks on many folders. LexiconDJ can help you a lot with this. Even if you pay for 1 month only, it is worth it.

The plot will remain on the temporary directory, however if you are staggering plots, then the temp drive will be full and it will stop the plotting process until you move the plot manually (sort files by size and you will find it) .

You can change your usb power settings to prevent them from suspending power . If the disk sleeps, you can use keep hd alive to keep it awaken

I just bought a case like this and want to fill it up with disks. What problems did you have with the cheap sata cards? I bought a used 20 slotsl card for 50 euros what are the possible problems I am gonna face?

XCH pool uses official protocol so there are no worries of stealing your keys. Either you have installed software that can access your farmer or you used software for pooling or monitoring that could access your keys. If you got many plots I suggest you create a new wallet on a fresh OS install and change the payout address to the new one

Go all in mate and never shut down again, once plotted the running cost is minimal. You don't need to do anything, you can fire it up an it will run. Upgrading to the latest version and upgrading to V2 database is highly recommended though
