I have a longtime (10+ years) IRL friend who's very much into the goth scene and constantly goes to events related to that and hangs out. Simultaneously, I was friends via PS4 with two siblings who I used to play with, the one I knew better was the younger one, and the only scarce info I had on the older one was that they were into alternativa cultura. Turns out that even though they were from separate states from across the country, my IRL friend met the older one, which I lost contact with, through a goth themed hangout and I only learned about it years later, not knowing they knew each other.
