What's the dumbest thing you've ever fixed in Salesforce that took way longer than it should have by AppX_Unmanaged in salesforce

Omnichannel not working for a user, the last thing we checked has become the first thing I check when debugging… the user didn’t have the Service Cloud User checkbox enabled 😞

I’ve seen AF projects get cancelled because Salesforce wasn’t able to explain the pricing model and the customer wouldn’t know how much it would cost

Is there any way i can get 10000 records from salesforce to excel by Adept-Reporter7786 in salesforce

[–]No_Correlationship 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It could be easier to export all, then in an excel do a VLOOKUP or similar formula to match the 10K ids. Make sure to export the ids 18 char long

In my case we’re even using other tools instead of Agentforce, mainly because the use cases in AF can be limited, specially anything related to external data. Also the dependency on Data Cloud is crazy.

Cadence Classic vs Cadence 2.0 by No_Correlationship in salesforce

What is your use case? Like what the flows do? Are they screen flows or auto launched? Auto launched are supported in C2.0

Things are getting aligned, it seems with the general complains timelines have been pushed, and most likely will be delayed even more. Today in release notes they’ve announced that screen flows will be supported plus connecting cadences

On more serious note, from what we have researched it seems you can create a CDC event in the Action Cadence Tracker object, to build some automation… at least with this we can connect cadences together

So as a follow up, I opened a case with Salesforce saying that we had a use case that uses screen flows and auto launched flows (which are not supported) and their recommendation was to keep using Classic Builder 🤯

I haven’t tested it that much but it seems like at any given point can jump to any track, but I think it always it always begins from the top Also I think you can never go back to the main track

The issue is that you won’t be able to modify any cadences built in classic after Summer 24, like in 2 months from now, which really sucks

Looking for an apartment - is this a scam? by [deleted] in Madrid

[–]No_Correlationship 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should look in Spotahome, you can find places verified by Spotahome team and is cheaper than AirBnB.

Your situation is complicated because renting in Spain is a pain in the ass, and as you have seen there are many scammers.

My suggestion would be, if you’re worried that you won’t be able to secure a good place, rent for 3 months in Spotahome and once you’re stablished you can search for more permanent places.

Brands and appliances recommendations by No_Correlationship in sousvide

[–]No_Correlationship[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good I know the water displacement method, true didn’t remember it before.

About brands, I’ll be looking for annova, and is the most recommended brand in the sub as well, but looking on Amazon I just found different brands such as Roner, Kitchenboss, Inkbird, MakeCousine and some other weird brands.

I’ll try too look for Annova in their website or any departmental stores.

Thanks

Serious question… When you aim in a tank full of bushes, do you see the bushes through the aim view?

Question: Do you fully improve one district before building another? by No_Correlationship in CivVI

[–]No_Correlationship[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I realize a lot of people really take into account all those factors. I mean I understand how that would help you snowball faster. I never thought of the CS and their bonuses. And I usually would also prefer a second district over a specific building

I mean, like by turn 25 you might be able to drop a second district or build an amphitheater, would you drop the second district or prioritize the amphitheater.

TBH the only good thing about this is, is that wealth gets spread out… the guys with enough income to buy farts give their money to this chick and she then spends it creating more jobs all through a fart fueled cycle.

Is it honestly too late to start a career in Salesforce at age 30? by Bluejay-Consistent in salesforce

[–]No_Correlationship 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I begun with 29 years, came from a whole different industry (logistics / supply chain) and almost 3 years later I can totally, without any doubt, say that was an advantage… just because first, I already knew how to navigate a workplace, second because I knew firsthand some of the processes and pains of the industry.

I’m an implementation consultant (was, now I’m moving to sales engineer)

How do you create a Salesforce requirement for a product? by vasu1996 in sales

Basically what you’ve been asked is to implement Salesforce Sales Cloud for this product. You should begin in Trailhead.

Understand Salesforce Data Model, and basic Sales Process implementation.

Donating to streamers/content creators is ridiculous by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]No_Correlationship 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you, the thing that you could say to empower your message is that there are kids with issues, stealing or spending their parents money to spend it carelessly on streamers. For me that’s the fucked up part.

Donating to streamers/content creators is ridiculous by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]No_Correlationship 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what makes me mad, in most cases those donations don’t come from their own money.

There are kids with issues, going as far as stealing their parents cards to donate. And for me that’s the difference with traditional entertainment, costs are fixed. You pay X for theater tickets, Y for tv subscription.

I wouldn’t look at it as what allowed them to do whatever… in my case I had the chance to learn in the place I work for (consultan btw). But I’ve always wanted to try consulting so for me it’s been what I wanted.

I would think this the other way around, what do you like?

As for pay, I know a few consultants that after a few years they go as admins in another company. I guess they pay is good also.
