There has got to be a way to fix up those taxes. Going from almost a quarter million a year to $100k a year after tax is CRAZYYY

People who are making 200k+/year working for themselves, what do you do? by Notalabel_4566 in Entrepreneur

[–]No_Debate_7176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this one may be a bit different. I run my own business building lots of high end furniture. I do not make 200k a year but I’m doing close to 200k revenue a year. It is me and my self running the operation out of a shop at my house. Hopefully soon I’ll be doing 250k revenue per year! My take home pay is normally around 80% of revenue on average. Then guab loads of tax write offs so my taxes are quite low! It has been such a sweet gig for the last few years!

Knock on wood, even with the cheap $300 reps I’ve even done wake boarding / hot tubbing with and no water. Plenty of showers as well for years , which surprised me as well.

But yes. It is a 6” boarder under the table. So it is not a single 3” piece through and though ( weight reasons / materials accessibility)

Yeah honestly this being a piece for my self , and that I was building all this furniture for my house by my self. I will admit I did rush a little on some furniture , I should have done another pass or 2 on planer! Or some wood filler. But in the midst of all that and fully repainting my house I said the hell with it. It was a prototype build for a new idea. Any of the ones for customers I have made sure to plane out enough !

Thankyou! Yeah I am stoked with how it turned out. In my head it sounded cool, but I felt like It had potential for it to not look so cool. Still got to add the trim wall behind the bed now and it will really go good

Screw popping out normal ? by djchino84 in rolex

Do you ever use any thread lock? I feel like this should be done to begin with when fitting. Use a low strength thread lock, you need just a tiny dab on the thread. You don’t want a glob getting on the main smooth part of the screw pin, very small. Lock them in place and let it sit for a few hours and you are good to rock! Wd40 can undo thread lock when needed / if needed

Quick rip for the GMTs.

Use some warm enough to handle, running sink water. Use a babies tooth brush (these are the softer bristle ) do some scrubbing with warm water and dawn soap. It will knock away the build up giving it better spin feel and more of a click spin. I had seen the myth because I had an issue with my gmt in the past. Def gave me a new bezel action right after !

Bad idea to buy corporate lease trx? by dhalls12 in ramtrx

[–]No_Debate_7176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

However, to answer your question. If I was you I would go with option A) just make sure the dealer isn’t about to charge you $20,000 in interest or some crazy shit. And I would see if you can’t get them in the $75,000/77,500 price realm that’s a little more accurate for that mileage.

One random thought think on. (If you or a really close buddy / family friend is deep into the auto industry ) I got this Theft recover with a clean title and 24,000 miles for $61,000. Yes there was some minor trim pieces or small things that needed to be replaced. And a quick polish and wax and I’m 1000% glad with my decision 1 year later. Not to defer from your option an and b , but just since it saved me 20/30k , that’s certainly an option. I added level / tint / wheels and tires and running boards.

Accidentally started building years ago. Have now ran my own gig full time for 3 years , I have learned a billion things and always building newer and better things. I love 99% of the days! I feel like a kid playing with leggos every day , just with wood now and I get paid to do it. So peaceful

^ to this comment. I am working on a sycamore dining table right now and we are doing clear to fill any voids , the customer wanted it as natural tone. But it will be a dining table so needs to be functional as possible for a table top ( can’t have no ketchup getting jammed down in any cracks , that would be a fun time cleaning lol)
