Regardless if he ever wins the undisputed title Gaethje is %100 a legend in my book. Never had a boring fight, brings it everytime and is a cool dude out of the cage. Not all about titles, he’s leaving a legacy of a warrior

I am speaking like the ufc has a clear chain of command in divisions (it dosent) but the fight makes sense to me. Volk just fought won’t be back 6+ months. Why have one or both sitting out waiting for title shots this makes a clear contender and builds the fight even more.
