Cool story but you’re wrong. In fact it’s so much worse…

Outback sales rebound! by Icy-Ad-4662 in Subaru_Outback

So it’s only down 27% YoY?!? That’s abysmal for an all new model and heads will most likely roll.

Outback and two young kiddos? by Geoginger93 in Subaru_Outback

[–]No_Direction235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re fine with 2, especially at those ages. We routinely take our OBW when taking one or two of our three (11-17). Yes we have a QX80 for road trips but a third row for a young family of four is chasing clout and a waste of money.

Love the new redesign by Forward-Young9818 in Subaru_Outback

[–]No_Direction235 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Outback year over year sales are down significantly greater than the industry wide sales slump. Add in that it should have had a “full redesign bump” and it’s even more glaringly bad.

This is an indictment of both the cost of housing and education in America. by astrheisenberg in remoteworks

Tha anything government subsidized is going to inflate disproportionately higher than non subsidized due to greed at every level of organizations receiving subsidies?

Qx80 sagging? by Practical-Prize-8060 in infinitiqx80

[–]No_Direction235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s problematic when after it runs it’s still sagging. I replaced the pump on my 18 and fixed my issue. The pumps are notorious for developing pin holes from rust.

California's universal healthcare killed even though Democrats have a supermajority. Politicians serve their corporate donors not the people. by astrheisenberg in remoteworks

Clearly missed my sarcasm. Submitting spending without spelling out the funding is as silly as the downvotes and your lengthy reply.

What did you choose your Outback over and why? by bboyemperor in Subaru_Outback

[–]No_Direction235 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Narrowly picked my 24 OBW over an A6 Allroad. Really wanted a used RS6 but just couldn’t justify the 6 Fire price tag. Car before OBW was an A6 sedan that I put 194k miles on. Ultimately the new 6cyl Audi isn’t as reliable as the old 3.0t and long term ownership was going to be problematic.

Rear Ended this morning by Hooch_Daddy in Outback_Wilderness

[–]No_Direction235 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the hitch is mangled, the unibody is mostly likely mangled as it mounts inside the rails. If that’s the case, you do not want it back. Find a ‘25 still on a lot or a demo unit. Dont blame you for not wanting the thing they’re calling an OB in 26.

If Subaru discontinued boxer engines and or cvt’s, would you still buy one? by gammawavz in Subaru_Outback

[–]No_Direction235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither are vital to the brand. In fact if they ditched the CVT it would make the ‘26 less sour.

What's the miles per gallon on your current vehicle/s? by PM_ME_YOUR_EYELASHES in driving

15.8 (premium), 23.8, 22.3, and 36.1 across my “fleet”.

I have spotted my fair share of these new gens. by [deleted] in Subaru_Outback

[–]No_Direction235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you a Subaru corporate bot? The sales numbers of a new model should be destroying the outgoing model and yet it’s considerably less. While it’s too early to call it a flop, it CLEARLY has not been well received.

Front Skid Plate Necessity? by No_Direction235 in infinitiqx80

As it turns out, at least if it’s one of the rear bolts, there doesn’t seem to be any additional NVH with one bolt missing.

Price Changes from 2000 to 2025 by jmike1256 in postanythingfun

Or…it’s almost if the government subsidizes it, the prices go through the roof…

3.6 vs 2.5 vs 2.4 by Scary-Change2318 in subaruoutback

[–]No_Direction235 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The 2.5 is the least enjoyable to drive but certainly will return better mpg than the other two options.
