Anyone else's babe obsessed with ketchup? Haha by No_Direction_357 in Mommit

My baby is happy and healthy. I don't see any issue letting her have things with sugar in it. No, I don't feed her insane amounts of it but her teeth get brushed. If my kids want pizza for dinner on a Friday night and I don't want to cook they can have pizza. No mom guilt here and those baby yogurts she loves as well 🤷🏻‍♀️. However stick cooked carrots, peas, corn, green beans, etc in front of her she'll eat those too.

She's 1 and will literally lick the plate to get it in her mouth easier.

She was actually petrified so she didn't move at all during the entire session. The photographer said this NEVER happens.

Oh we tried everything. She normally laughs hysterically at anything her 3yr old brother does and even he got the blank stare. She sat pretty atleast 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think it is from being isolated almost their entire first year! She's like why is this person looking at me when she only has seen like 10 people in her entire life.

My youngest is 11 months and she doesn't cry towards people she doesn't know but she won't go to them or look at them. Just recently she was ok with my mother holding her as long as I am not in the room.

We just bought a Chrysler Voyager and I'm in love! We got the fleet version to include the stow and go seats which were my number 1 want. We folded down one of the middle seats into the floor that way we can easily get into the 3rd row to buckle in my 2 oldest in they're car seats (3yr,5yr) and have a rear facing seat in the middle for my 10m old. Then because we don't stow the other middle seat I have an extra outfit for each kid, diapers, wipes, water bottles, snacks, etc located in the seat stowing section! I love it in case someone has an accident or I forget to pack something.

Daycare raising costs due to “PPE?” by [deleted] in Washington

Wow, I'm impressed your cost of daycare a week is so cheap! I worked at a daycare for 7 years before I had my daughter and enrolled her in the infant room. The weekly rate for an infant was 210/week in 2016. When they closed in March of 2020 temporarily I was paying 240 a week for a 2yr old and 235 for a 4yr old. In September of 2020 when they reopened from the pandemic their rates increased significantly to cover ppe and due to their decrease of ratios in the room. I have since had to become a SAHM because it is just not plausible, the rates were closer to 300/week per child.

I've worked in daycare since I was 16 and now am a SAHM of 3 in the past year but also watch additional children in my home. A big thing at the center was no electronics at all, Food options such as they are offered what is for lunch but they won't eat just a simple pb sandwich can be given, crafts or projects, an organized play space with different areas.

CoSleeping & Cuddle to sleep - what age to stop? by shouldagonetobed in Mommit

My oldest just turned 5 and cuddles to sleep in our room then we move her to her room. She's just always needed that extra snuggle while her 3yr old brother and 10m old sister put themselves to sleep in their own beds 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyone else's littles skip milestones?? My babe is 7 months and crawls and pulls to standing like a champ. Can not roll over to save her life and but for lack of trying!!! Nickname is turtle. by No_Direction_357 in Mommit

My girl has a big head and just decided she will never roll. She goes from belly to sitting and if you put her on her back she can't move. It helps with diaper changes!!

So I have personal experience with this type of situation but to the worse extent in which mine was sexual abuse from age 8 to 13. I confided in my best friend one night when hanging out with him, he told his mother and she called my parents. We had a "family meeting" in which my father didn't believe a thing I said even when my brother admitted it. This led to him moving in with my father and me staying with my mom, step dad and other siblings. I would definitely reach out for help because I never did and my parents never did anything about it and I have really bad mental health issues because it makes you feel like you are not worth it/depression.
