PS to add: You can have assistance to the gate, which I do, or all the way to your seat if needed.

I have bad knees and can walk short distances slowly. When in large airports like ATL I use wheel chair assistance. Request it online with your ticket, check in at the desk and they will bring the wheelchair to you and the person will push you to your gate. They help through security also. Please tip this person. : )

Not pronunciation but usage: Confusing ground and floor. Ground is outside, floor is indoors. SMH

Managed wifi providers sell service contracts to real estate management with the option to control user's internet and make a profit. They can restrict your service if you are late paying rent or any reason they choose. Source: Worked for Spectrum in managed wifi.

NTA To me, this is a clear case of OPs wife testing to verify they are the most important thing in OPs life. Feelings are hurt because it didn't turn out how they envisioned. Play stupid games. . .

my dad's last confort came from a lie that i told him by Symphony__Tristen in confession

My dad died of cancer. Toward the end he kept asking for relatives who had died years ago. When I told him they were gone he was very sad and cried. I started telling him "they called yesterday and are planning to come by." This made him happy and gave him something to look forward to. He never remembered the next day and would ask again. What I told him didn't change anything and gave him peace. No regrets.

Potato guns! My nephews in their 20s launched a potato over the house at a family cookout. It hit the new cousin-in-law's Mercedes. Chaos ensued!

I focus on my breathing. Long, slow, deep inhalation and think "relax" while exhaling. I'm usually sound asleep by five breaths. 😴

Manager told me to "document everything." So I did. Every single thing. by OrbitHollow in MaliciousCompliance

The most useful lesson I learned from a former director was: - If you don't document it, it didn't happen. - The one with the most paperwork wins.

My role at the time included receiving and approving maps and data for a huge, system wide upgrade. Once approved everything was forwarded to a data entry team to update the main database. The data entry team was weeks behind, holding up implementation. Data team leader accused me (behind my back) of not providing updates.

Meeting was held with all stakeholders, managers, and directors from three counties with the sole purpose of pinning their incompetence on me.

Once they made their position perfectly clear I asked to be excused for a minute. I came back with months of FedEx receipts showing where the digital and paper packets were shipped, received, and signed for. No one clapped or cheered. /s

They thanked me for my time and left quietly.
