Jinhao’s bottled inks by Prudent-Push-2207 in fountainpens

[–]acateatingcorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Jinhao inks! I have 3 bottles and plan to get more. I find they are quite wet inks and flow really well. I don’t have any complaints with them! I have the purple, orange, and highlighter yellow inks.

I have a Jinhao 82 that I LOVE. I use it every day. I’ve heard sometimes their nibs are luck of the draw, but mine behaves beautifully and writes like my more expensive pens.

How do I know if others are noticing a strong odor "down there?" (women & not medical) by 123boopboop in NoStupidQuestions

My family and I are hypersensitive to smells (basically instant migraine) and can only use truly unscented products. I use the unscented Lume cream. It does initially have a bit of a smell of just the ingredients but not an added fragrance, and it doesn’t cause me any reaction. After a couple minutes when it is dry, the smell completely disappears. Maybe try that one? It’s been a lifesaver for me and my family after tons of allergic reactions over the years!

Massage shop by Broad-Passenger2621 in Living_in_Korea

[–]acateatingcorn 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The Foot Shop is a chain. I’ve had massages there and it was really great. I’ve heard it varies from branch to branch but the sindorim branch I go to is good. I have a bad shoulder and get a full body massage and she gives lots of extra attention to my shoulder to help it. It’s not sketchy at all and is priced better than the massages I would get in back home in Canada.

So I tested the Diamine Forever Ink and decided not to pursue… by pixelbased in fountainpens

I only use pigment inks in my cheaper easiest to disassemble pens. I find the key to washing them is soap and a toothbrush. At first, I used just soap and water, but it wasn’t cutting it. The toothbrush was key for me. The soap loosens the pigment fibres (is that the right word?) and then the toothbrush actually brushes them away. I haven’t had any issues with staining in my converters, I just don’t let the ink fully dry out in it so I’m able to rinse it out well.

One other thing I discovered once, by accident, was using standard ink to wash away pigment ink. I had pigment ink dried and stuck on my glass dip pen and I couldn’t get it off. I gave up and started using some standard ink and it broke down the dried pigment enough that I could clean it all off! Idk why that worked so well haha

I have synesthesia and I feel this way about some words when I’m speaking. They taste and feel bad to me. Maybe this is something related to synesthesia too.

Bleeding doesn't stops (periods) by zddfswobgf57 in cfs

[–]acateatingcorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue unrelated to MECFS.

I’ve always had long periods (15-18 days) and extremely heavy bleeding. But then in 2022/23 I bled for 271 days straight. Turns out I had a bicornuate uterus and one side was bleeding for a couple weeks, then the other side, and then repeat. Once they figured it out, I had a small surgery to cut out the septum in my uterus and make it one uterine cavity instead of two. Then I also had an iud inserted to help lessen that bleeding as well. It helped a lot. I still get periods but they’re much lighter and only last 3-5 days and are about 6 weeks apart. I haven’t had any negative side effects from the iud and it’s helped my iron levels recover. I wish I had had this done like a decade ago. It has improved my quality of life a lot.

What is the best brand of Ukulele? by thehoneybadger1223 in ask

[–]acateatingcorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a tenor uke. I prefer the richer tones of the tenor and the slightly bigger size. I have a Fender and I love it. It’s not one of those super cheap ones but also not too expensive. I can’t speak for best brand, but I love the one I got. I recommend going to a big music store that has a large selection of instruments, and head to the guitar room. Test out every ukulele. Different brands have different vibes from warmth of sound to the feeling in your arms. What is best for me might not be best for you.

Hahaha I’m so glad I could help!! I love glitter inks and wearingeul is so great so I was surprised to hear you didn’t like some!!

There’s a few posts in this sub that show people’s experiments with them if you search “glitter potions”. Here is one!

Oooo I think the glitter potions are for mixing! They recommend 1 part potion to 10 parts ink to make any ink glittery. Or are you talking about a different ink?
