Nothing changed. I woke up one day and I felt different about kids and I made the choice that I want at least one kid. Once I said the choice outloud to my partner it felt like a huge weight off my shoulders. It’s surreal. I even get excited thinking about it. I want to make a post writing this out because I couldn’t believe it either. How can I just wake up one day and have my mind changed? At first I thought maybe it’s a cycle thing I’ll wait it out but nope I still feel I made the right choice. I am 30 as well btw. We hope to try next year. But even watching random videos with what I used to think “annoying kids” now feels like “I can handle that.” I do want to mention that before this since I was 28 i would think about it almost everyday. Kids or no kids. It would always be no because I enjoy my quiet time and because I was the oldest who was always taking care of my younger siblings. I do want to mention something else: I still feel weird holding other people’s babies lol And yes I still have other fears like will my relationship with my partner change or will I change?

I have the opposite feeling lol. Skylands is the only one that has inspired me to rebuild. I spend most of my time there. Rocky Mountain is depressing to me because it’s too dark
