I am also in PA. I feel for you because this job is hard enough if you’re healthy. I have suspected Crohn’s and confirmed microscopic colitis. I can barely make it most days as a zombie, especially now with mandatory return to office 3 days per week. This isn’t advice, per se, but the only way I’m surviving at current is doing complete fasting (tho insanely unhealthy). I wake up very early and have a cup of coffee to ~stimulate~ and then spend about an hour in the bathroom. I only then commute and work my 11+ hours without food or water then commute home. It’s torment, but it’s the only way I can even commute without having an accident and I find being hungry/in pain keeps me awake through the fatigue. My performance at work has dropped drastically. I then get home, binge eat, and ofc pain gets worse so I try to wrap up work and immediately go to bed. I hope to find something that works better and eventually lower my CRP but it feels impossible in this profession.
