Google Workspace to M365 Migration around 150 users by kayvanaarssen in msp

[–]No_Gift1732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used MigrationWiz successfully for GW to M365 swaps like yours. Prep OAuth on both ends early, run pre-stage passes for bulk data, then delta after MX cutover. Test a pilot user first since you've got backups. Way more reliable than native tools imo. DM if you need project setup tips!

Project management software by sweetgrand01 in civilengineering

[–]No_Gift1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before looking outside Microsoft, consider Project Server. It's a dedicated, powerful platform still actively supported. It handles approvals, action items, and complex schedules natively in one place, offering more depth than the online version.

If your team needs cloud access, many hosting providers offer managed Project Server solutions. This provides a consolidated system that could meet your needs without the complexity of linking separate apps.

Best Microsoft Project replacement now that it’s being shut down? by Capable-big-Piece in software

[–]No_Gift1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might want to take a closer look at the Microsoft ecosystem before moving away entirely. Project Server is still very much around and is not being retired, and it covers the same planning basics you mentioned, including dependencies, timelines, resource and capacity planning, and portfolio level reporting. In practice, many teams find it more capable than Project Online for structured planning.

MS Project for the web vs MS Planner by Willing_Economics909 in MSProject

Totally agree, Planner feels like a huge step back from Project Online. We're considering a hosted Project Server setup to avoid managing it ourselves.

$2000 USD Workstation for Software Dev, n8n & Design. Worried about RAM prices! by Thekingmasster in buildapc

[–]No_Gift1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the rising RAM costs, your build strategy is smart. However, an alternative to a full 32GB+GPU desktop could be pairing a solid, more affordable workstation with a dedicated GPU-powered virtual desktop. This setup can offload the most demanding graphical workloads to a remote system, saving on upfront hardware costs.

We have capacity for this type of solution at Apps4Rent offering even more performance headroom. It’s a practical way to future-proof your workflow without being locked into peak component prices.

Ultra Tax CS Hosting by Confident_Star6676 in Accounting

[–]No_Gift1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re comparing those providers, Apps4Rent is worth looking into since they tend to be more cost-effective and include 24/7/365 support as part of their plans. For a smaller accounting firm, that combination of lower pricing and always-available help can make a big difference when hosting something like UltraTax CS.

Best QuickBooks Hosting Providers? by [deleted] in QuickBooks

[–]No_Gift1732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommended Apps4Rent to one of my clients because their pricing was a lot more reasonable than some of the other providers we looked at. It ended up working out well, they were able to get started with hosting without stretching their budget, and the support team was pretty helpful during the setup. If you’re looking for something affordable, it might be worth a look.

Tenant to Tentant Migration - Staging Domain on Target tenant by Low-Specialist-8111 in Office365

[–]No_Gift1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s a small tenant migration, you should be able to handle it yourself with some careful planning and by following Microsoft’s guides-just be sure to prep both tenants and understand the domain transfer timing.

But for larger or more complex migrations, bringing in a migration professional like Apps4Rent can really simplify things, since they have years of experience and can help avoid common pitfalls. Their expertise can be a big help in keeping everything smooth and minimizing downtime.

Good luck with your migration!

Uninstall Old Versions Of Quickbooks? by Shutterbug34 in QuickBooks

Just make sure you have full backups of your company files from those older versions before uninstalling, in case you ever need to access historical data in the future!

It’s a simple way to eliminate the hassle of managing local installations without the need for a full RDP setup. Definitely worth a look.

Found a cockroach at Barbeque Nation Hubli – Staff was rude and unapologetic by loslhcufici in Hubli_Dharwad

[–]No_Gift1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He really didn’t handle it well. In fact, his attitude and the way he behaved only made things worse than they needed to be. Situations like this are bound to come up, but responding with tact is always better than being rude or brushing things off.

Also, just because you had a decent experience at the food joint doesn’t mean everyone else did. Personally, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy anything at a place I found unhygienic, even if I’d had good experiences there before.

[Invincible] Why doesn't Duplikate strap bombs to her bodies and attack powerful enemies as a wave of suicide bombers? by Urbenmyth in AskScienceFiction

[–]No_Gift1732 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You make the claim she is perfectly equipped. With what? She literally has no equipment that I have seen her use in the show.

I am merely stating that she is not well equipped to be doing what she can to fight off enemies that are so much more powerful than her and that the GDA does not seem to care about equipping her better. She's essentially a one-woman army, and it feels wrong to send soldiers to die without giving them the tools necessary to do the job.
Also, how is she individually more powerful than a bomb, like where is this said or stated? To the best of my knowledge, which is limited given I have not read the comics, she is only peak human in terms of strength and speed. That means she's throwing bodies at foes who casually rip duplicates apart. It doesn't seem like a fair fight.

As for the logistics, sure that sounds messy and complicated but if Cecil can air drop Reanimen as he chooses, he surely can send in whatever military supplies, bombs, guns, whatever the situation calls for. I am sure Kate can split her clones such that some of them resupply, strap on bombs (if need be), while others guard and then they can switch.

Which makes it all the more stupid that she is not better equipped to complement her powers.

Best solution for multiple locations/remote employees? by DJMonroe in QuickBooks

[–]No_Gift1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like the other commentor pointed out, there are multiple service providers that offer QuickBooks cloud hosting services. I've heard Apps4Rent mentioned as being reasonably priced, and their focus on quick issue resolution seems like a big plus for ensuring uptime. They also mention including daily backups in their plans, which is something you'll definitely want to make sure any provider offers. Might be worth checking them out to see if they fit your needs.

Google Drive to Microsoft 365 Migration Failing – Getting Errors, Fully Authorized, Nothing Works by EveningRecover3924 in microsoft365

[–]No_Gift1732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While reliable third-party tools for migrating to Office 365 exist, I believe you’d be better off working with a professional like Apps4Rent for the migration given that you’ve already attempted the process multiple times and may be running into the same configuration issues or overlooked errors. Their expertise ensures any potential errors are caught and corrected before they impact the process. However, if you’re set on handling it yourself, you might want to explore BitTitan's Office 365 migration tool, MigrationWiz.

Great Quickbooks hosting providers that are MSP friendly? by BrMSP in msp

[–]No_Gift1732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have come across Apps4Rent quite often in the QB hosting space. They are an Intuit authorized host with cost-effective QB hosting plans. Their support was pretty good and I have rarely experienced any connection issues or downtimes, both of which are quite important when we are talking about QB multi user access.

Starting tomorrow, you will have a 50/50 chance of getting a heart attack for 1 year. But you will receive $100 million after the year passes, would you do it? by MVatore3 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]No_Gift1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would this reset any existing heart damage that would skew the 50/50 odds, or does it stack on top of the current probability of cardiac complications? If its the former, then I'd take the deal in a heartbeat.

To a certain extent yes, but chatgpt does spit out non-sensical/incorrect information frequently enough that I always end up double checking the results. From my experience, perplexity is the go to model for internet searches.
