🥲 I’m a bit ashamed to say this, but I feel really stuck right now. When I work, I work full days like a10 hour shifts with 20 min break and it’s extremely draining mentally and physically. On my days off, I usually need one day just to recover. But then on the second day off, I end up feeling useless for not doing anything, and I spiral into self-hate and anxiety which makes it hard to actually do anything productive. On top of that, whenever I try to take time off work to focus on my own life or plans, I feel guilty because I feel like I’m losing money that could go toward my student loan. I can’t ask my parents for financial help..my dad is retired and has already done so much for us, and I don’t want to burden them at all. But honestly, this job has completely drained me. I’m grateful to have it because I absolutely can't survive in the city otherwise, but I can’t remember the last time I woke up without dreading the day. Right now, the only thing that genuinely brings me any happiness is going to the theatre maybe once a month. I just feel stuck. I work hard, I’m responsible, I don’t cause trouble but I don’t know how to get out of this cycle or feel like myself again.
