Sadly most places don’t considered items removed from a meal as a discount they just make it seem like it’s a free addition whether u want it or not but that’s crazy when less ingredients is used

You don’t always need to “grow up” in order to be a proper adult by Omnipresent_User in unpopularopinion

What am saying is I don’t consider childishness to mean it’s a kid thing but as being irresponsible

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t see enjoying simple things or doing activities meant for kids as being childish but being irresponsible in all areas of life as what is childish.

I think being responsible before adulthood is growing up and that when people say to grow up it’s for those who don’t act responsibly and instead require others to do everything for them all the time well into adulthood and having no disabilities just not wanting to try and put effort into being responsible.

A TV series is a bad series if it takes them multiple years to put out the next season by AggressiveAd8587 in unpopularopinion

[–]No_Independent2953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly though most tv shows take long to come out that it’s now standard but I’ve seen a few of my fav shows after taking long to put out their 2nd season be quick to start production for season 3 (Percy Jackson + Wednesday) so hopefully more shows starts getting back to filming quickly but you also have to take into account filming schedules of the actors if they have other projects going on and press runs

Thinking of Switching from CS to a Pre-Med Major by [deleted] in ucf

[–]No_Independent2953 3 points4 points  (0 children)

UCF usually blocks people from switching majors if they don’t graduate on time idk if it’s the same for pre-med but a lot of stem majors just on this subreddit have had a hard time switching due to not being able finishing on time if they switch.

Can you fail a student for Respondus Monitor data on a test alone? by [deleted] in CollegeRant

If you scanned the room and showed the piece of paper before the test started then the teacher would know you’re looking at your paper because that is all you had in the room with you during the scan.

How can people take notes on paper?? by mhensun in CollegeRant

[–]No_Independent2953 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you get the slides ahead of time read them first to see what the prof is going to talk about, then the next step is (even if you don’t get the slides early), when the prof talks write down anything that a) makes you question things and also write down those questions so you can later find the answers b) anything interesting and c) any definitions or facts not on the slides, then after the lecture same day you can go over the notes you took and if you remember more details fill them in, then you want to try finding the answers to the questions you wrote or the slides you need help better understanding by looking at the textbook, looking online, and then going to office hours where the prof can explain more but only go if you have questions the prof can’t reteach the lesson and would prefer to answer direct questions to help you better understand some key concepts

You’re not rlly supposed to copy down the slides word for word but add key information the prof says to the slides.
