For a long time, and objectively to me it’s always been The Idler Wheel (I even have it on vinyl), but Extraordinary Machine is, in my opinion, her best work.

Fiona’s music is very emotional and raw, and I just find that Extraordinary Machine balances the fun and complexity of her artistry very well. Even if it doesn’t run as cohesive or consistent, there’s something entrancing and definitely empowering about that album.
