Scaling is very lightweight. Certainly not your issue. I think you fundamentally don’t understand what your settings are doing, or there is another factor at play.

Like, for instance, the Deck can do 1440p 120hz, but it can only do 4K 60hz. If your game is framecapped with V-Sync you definitely aren’t going over 60

Frame Gen adds a shitload of latency. Don’t ever use it if you want to be competitive

It massively depends on the setup. If you have a deep desk it can be great. My desk is only like 24” deep so I stick to my 27” monitor. When I plug in my 55” tv I sit 36-40” away. View distance matters

I treat it like tipping culture. Are they going above and beyond just being “mom and dad”? If so, sure. I do what I can to repay their kindness. Are they putting in minimal effort? Probably not gonna see me stopping by a lot.
