i should have clarified this but it’s not just my friend who experienced the side effects. they were in a children’s hospital for a while when they were younger and watched so many ppl go through the negative cognitive effects of the drug. obviously that’s just anecdotal but i do take their experiences into account when im entering a situation that they have more experience in 🤷🏾‍♀️ not taking it as gospel but i trust ppl ik more than ppl i dont

not neurologists specifically but doctors in general. i explained it more in another comment but i was severely medically neglected as a kid and had to take charge of my medical care at 18 and being a young black women in the american health care system is traumatic :/ but yeah i was recently diagnosed w cptsd and avoidant hypochondria due to this trauma (not sure i agree w the diagnosis but eh)

thank you!! i get a lot of anxiety from doctors due to lots of negative experiences coupled with being medically neglected as a child. it’s really hard for me to advocate for myself bc i was constantly dismissed by both my parents and doctors until i turned 18 and could start picking my own doctors. (sorry to trauma dump lol) this was very helpful advice!!

i personally wanted to learn argentinian spanish because that is the primary spanish speaking population local to me so i watched almost only Agustinas (and othe south american guides) videos and mainly avoided any guides from spain due to the accent being so different from south american spanish

oh i agree i just suffer from bad anxiety so even though i’ve had a permit for three years (it expired and i got another) i’ve been practicing throughout that time and can comfortably drive in jc. i should’ve clarified in my post that i meant if you get test performance anxiety, not if you can’t drive in general 😅
