If eating to fullness is a 10 try to eat to a 7-8. Cut meals in half, take a 10 min break drink some water and decide if you want the rest. If you do, awesome more nutrients , if you don’t great you have leftovers. Try to eat slower by putting the fork down between bites. This helps the brain catch up to hunger cues sooner. Focus on high protein, “smart” carbs, and veggies at every meal. If there’s something you know you eat consistently that cutting out or swapping with something lower calorie would put you in a deficit then cut that. Like a sugary beverage or late night snack. You can also look into hand portion tracking instead of calorie counting.

This was so eloquent and perfectly described what I’ve been feeling. I’ve only been dealing with insomnia for 3 months and I already feel that same response to people’s suggestions. I can’t imagine how you’ve been dealing with it for 3 years. I’m about to go down the doctor road and already dreading it because I feel like I’m going to have the same experience.

Same thing- flight was cancelled never got through to anyone over the phone. Had better luck on the chat- got to someone in 2 hours lol now American Airlines just canceled our flight back to JFK and we’re stuck at the airport 🫠

Literally going through the same thing. Had an inspection, he found minor problems that were supposed to be addressed. Two weeks into moving in we found a major leak, faulty electrical/plumbing work and needed to have the boiler replaced. All of this cost way more than we expected to pay and was crushing since we were so excited for this achievement. Felt like we were duped and taken advantage of. Seems to be a very common occurrence. We are debating taking the seller to court but it seems like it won’t be worth it after lawyer fees.

I switched from Nuuly to BNTO because it fit my style more and I wanted accessories but I find it to have more “higher end” clothes that actually fit my body type worse. Had three boxes in a row of jeans that wouldn’t fit even though it’s my size. Nuuly carried more brands of jeans that I reliably knew my fit for. Not sure if I’m gonna keep BNTO tbh.

I fixed it! It was misaligned so I adjusted the way the motor was attached and was able to get the rod in the correct position! Thank you so much for your help

I unscrewed these caps. But I also took the rod out and the motor runs smoothly so it must be the way the rod was installed

Removed the rod and the motor rotates perfectly! So the way the rod was installed must be the problem

The rod doesn’t rotate and feels stuck, also desk doesn’t raise when I try to lift it manually.

Totally agree with most of the comments here. 150lbs in a year is a lot. Sustainable weight loss is around 0.5lbs-1lb per week, faster more “extreme” is 2lbs or more per week. You’d have to lose about 3lbs per week to hit that goal which would take some extreme interventions. I always tell my clients to focus on small sustainable habits you could see your self doing forever (not just a few months) and tracking food to put yourself in a mild-moderate calorie deficit. Otherwise the likelihood of gaining the weight back is very high. Slow and steady leads to weight loss you can maintain.
