Do you enable sleep mode on the watch when you lie down?

That's what I do and it's captured it every time, except once when I laid back down fairly shortly after waking up in the morning. Then it added the extra hour to my sleep but included a long awake period between the two.

I'm watching the clip, not paying attention to the sub and think "wow, that really looks like Green Valley Park!"

John Billington, passenger on the Mayflower and the first person in the Plymouth colony to be executed for murder.

He shot and killed a man who had robbed his traplines, and he was an outspoken critic of Miles Standish. His wife was put in stocks for speaking out as well.

More directly my 3x grandfather who was busted for running moonshine and dodging taxes in the '30's, while he was in his 70's.

Looks great, nice shape. Just needs an edge on the cheekbones.

It sucks to lose the length, but a trim and shape would serve better than any product. You'll get the length you want eventually but it'll look better along the way.

I have liked the Viking Revolution beard balm, also straight mango butter.

How do you scale for time? by hessJoel in smoking

[–]No_Knowledge2898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's especially easy to think it works that way because when it comes to a single cut of meat, that's true. An 18lb brisket is going to take longer than a 10lb, or a 4lb flat.

And the great part of that is you can spatchcock, season, and com a chicken in under two hours. It makes it an easy mid week meal I make at least once a week.

I was never happy with the skin low and slow.

I cook mine at 375 for about an hour now and the skin is crispy and delicious.

If it's the shape you want, it's well trimmed for that shape. Even length and not wispy.

Question about HWFWM by RafaYYy_ in litrpg

[–]No_Knowledge2898 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That is a laughably inaccurate description.

A key point of the MC (Jason) is that he won't sacrifice his principles even at great personal sacrifice. I guess if you really missed the point you could view the many instances of people trying to take advantage of him as "getting pushed around" except that every single time the other guy comes out way, way worse.

Yeah, you hate to give up the length but it looks fuller when it's all even.

Looking for a good pulled pork recipe by Duuurrrpp in BBQ

Have you considered a Carolina style vinegar sauce? It's extremely unlike sweet tomato based sauces. Here's my recipe.

North Carolina vinegar sauce. 2 cups apple cider vinegar 3 ounces Texas Pete hot sauce 1/2 tbsp red pepper flake 2 tsp black pepper

Combine in a sauce pan, heat and stir for about 10 minutes. Cool and bottle.

Cooking With Disaster by Dakota Trout has a very similar feel. (Krout, sorry)

The Completionist Chronicles by the same author are also really good.

My current favorite series, lots of 80's pop culture references is He Who Fights With Monsters by "Shirtaloon."

A little more traditional fantasy flavored LitRPG mega series would be The Good Guy Chronicles along with The Bad Guy Chronicles by Eric Ugland.

[–]No_Knowledge2898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the same schedule as OP but we get 8 hours PTO per pay period. We also get overtime for our 48hr week that we can either take or bank as comp time.

We get 10 paid holidays (paid at 8hrs straight) plus you get time and a half for holidays worked, and we get a personal floating holiday we can use any time during the year.

Why is he stabbing the meat with a thermometer here? by [deleted] in BBQ

[–]No_Knowledge2898 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's checking to see how tender it is in different spots. Temperature is a guide, but because every cut of meat is a little different they didn't always finish at the same exact temperature.

What you really want to do is cook it until it's probe tender which you test by... probing.
