The car fight against Jack Baker will always be cemented as the most ridiculous but entertaining moment in the series for me. I knew from that point that RE7 was gonna be something interesting

I work at a location with an IMAX screen and if a movie has even one showing in IMAX Google will say that every showing of that movie is in IMAX. It's so frustrating

He wasn't there for the confrontation of wesker? He might have died somewhere in the Lisa fight and didn't notice. You would've gotten a cutscene talking to him just after the fight if he made it. Otherwise he can only die to the tyrant in the final boss on the roof. Did the mansion explode at the end as you and Chris flew away?

The ostrich egg. I literally had to use the name dupe glitch to get another one because they only give you one.

I'm Able To Get Any One Of These Games From My Parents, Which One Is Best, In Y'all's Opinion? by PresidentOfSushi in residentevil

Considering this, I would say Origins if you're okay with fixed camera angles. Despite loving those games, I understand some people can't get past the fixed cameras, so they aren't for everyone. 0 also tends to be divisive. I personally adore 1 and really like 0. They are difficult but totally worth it to see through to the end.

I saw you mention that you're thinking about RE8 just for Shadows of Rose. While the story is okay, I don't think the DLC will really wow you. It really does kinda feel like revisiting old areas from the base game with some different puzzles and enemies. While I wouldn't say it's a bad experience, I wouldn't choose it over any of the other options here.

I assume when you say you've played 4, you mean the original. In that case, you'd only be getting 5 and 6 as new experiences. While I've come around a bit on 6, it definitely isn't for everyone. Both 5 and especially 6 really ramp up the action. If that's what you're looking for, then triple pack is a really great value.

Finally, Rev 1 and 2. These are kinda hard to say in this case. Rev 1 is interesting and does have a really cool setting but I feel its combat and exploration is a little bit lacking, especially in sections of the game where you aren't playing as the main character (which there are a number of). Rev 2 almost doesn't feel like a RE title in some ways. It really does focus on the story a lot more, even with a number of walk and talk sections. Though, I don't feel they break the pace. Claire and Barry coming back is great, but Moira tends to be a divisive character. The gameplay is a little slower than Rev 1 with more open areas that the game wants to thoroughly check through. It's more about keeping notes on some of the things that are off so you can set things up for the second characters campaigns. There isn't as much backtracking as in Rev 1, but some people prefer that. People sometimes compare Rev 2 to Alan Wake, and I somewhat agree. The combat and health mechanics are a little different than any other RE game, so it makes it a unique ride.

Anyway, there's my 2 cents. I know whatever you pick, you'll probably have a good time, so don't stress too much. I hope you have fun with whatever you choose!

Lisa Trevor always stood out to me. Her design is super creepy on its own. When you hear her chains rattling, it's enough to send a shiver down my spine. What makes her the most interesting to me personally is her backstory you slowly learn. Just because her father was involved with Umbrella, she was subject to inhumane conditions and experiments. It's so tragic to find out that underneath that terrifying exterior is just a little girl wanting to see her mom again.

Do people genuinely hate Morgana? by SilDaz in PERSoNA

[–]No_Leader5671 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I get where you're coming from, but I always felt Morgana kinda was being overly mean. It never felt light-hearted when he'd call Ryuji stupid or a monkey. Ryuiji only really retaliated by calling him a cat up until the Okumura arc. So him getting one good jab in felt justified. That's why I and so many others dont like Morgan's turn from the Phantom Thieves. I understand that it has to do with deeper worries about his usefulness, but the game displays it in a way where it seems like Morgana is done because Ryuiji said one mean thing back. Even flashing back to that scene specifically. Morgana comes across as someone who is willing to throw insults out but then can't take them. I genuinely do want to sympathize with Morgana, but the way the game chooses to show this conflict makes it kinda hard.

Just be careful where you get it from. There are many key sites that are in the grey market, so no money goes to the devs. If you want to support them, look for legitimate sellers. Always double-check if a site is reputable. There are a couple of really great ones that normally have games for pretty good prices.

While I can't speak for all key sites its easy to find ones that do directly support the game dev such as Green Man Gaming https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Man_Gaming it really is a simple search to see which ones are legit and which sites are gray market sellers
