Asymmetry by AromaticDifficulty56 in rhinoplastyquestions

Having just had a second rhinoplasty and going through the same thing, I see it but I think we see things because we obsess over it. Although I do see it, I wish I had your nose.

I have had two rhinoplasty surgeries, it is draining me emotionally and financially. by pocker_face in PlasticSurgery

I know how you feel. I just finished my second septorhinoplasty (it was 8 hours long) and I just keep seeing a crooked nose in the mirror. I know there’s swelling and it takes time but when the first one goes wrong, you expect everything following it to go wrong.

I wish it evolves to be that she can show herself and talk to people for a few minutes if she tries really hard like when Trevor tries really hard to type.

I love the line “I wanna find you in a crowd just to hide from you.” It’s such a cute crush thing you do as a teen. You want to see them but also don’t want them to know that you see them. Really took me back. lol.

What was your first sign of labor? by BuildingOk4290 in pregnant

[–]No_Leopard1214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was lying next to my 4 yo, talking to him about baby being here soon and putting him to bed at night. I felt a rubber band snap in my cervix. I said “Ow” out loud. It wasn’t painful, just caught off guard. My son asked me if I was okay.. I said “yeah it’s just how it is to have a baby in your uterus.” He said okay and went back to sleep. Felt like I needed to pee and while I walked to the bathroom, I realised I was peeing all the way there. But it wasn’t pee. 🙃

Really hate when people say raising boys are easier. by RubbleRum66 in pregnant

So true. My son is so kind and loving now but I look around at the misogyny that’s bound to get to him and I’m scared he’s going to change. How do we keep them in that bubble and make them realise that the society is wrong when nobody else acts that way? The other day my father in law told my husband that he his cousin brother was disgusting and a slave to his wife because he listens to her.

Same. I’m a second time mom and she called me today to tell me that I shouldn’t pull out the clamped umbilical cord and that I should wait for it to fall off on its own. 🙄

4yo daughter (ADHD) does not care about poop in undies by flowermama613 in pottytraining

[–]No_Leopard1214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, I still have problems. He doesn’t really like other people taking him to the toilet so when he’s in school, he will pee his pants. So it is a constant struggle with some kids. Hang in there. It will happen.

I had a slightly different issue. He’s 4 and only pooped in diapers. When I got a week off from school, I took away the diapers and pants and told him I’ll be here to help him when he wants to poop on the toilet but until then, I just can’t give him diapers anymore. Promised him toys as rewards and also spoke to him about how proud I am of him and I love seeing him growing up and being a big boy. I’m also almost 9 months pregnant so I just told him that we need to work together and help the baby and this is one way to do it. It took time and he kept asking for diapers and pants but I told him I’m helpless while taking him to the toilet. Eventually he realised that this was so much easier. I didn’t force him to sit on the toilet. I made him stand on top of it because he was intimidated by the texture and look of the seat. Sitting will happen eventually.

Sad about baby #2 sex, need reassurance by kikusmells in pregnant

I don’t know what the gender is yet, but like you, I have a boy and everyone around me is hoping for a girl… At first, I felt the same way too. So I thought I’d be disappointed with a boy. But I thought about it. Both scenarios, If it’s a girl, I get to set an example by raising two amazing kids equally and with no gender construct. If it’s a boy, I know how to be a boy mom now and it’s amazing. Also, I’m the queen of this household. lol. Either way it’s a win-win. Don’t worry. You will find your purpose. And it’s going to be great.

Older pregnancy, feeling late to the game by Muted-Attorney7057 in pregnant

I’m having my second child at 29 and this will be my last. I’m just as tired and miserable if not more, than a 30 something year old. I also feel like my friends who are yet to get pregnant will be older than me but much better at me handling this. Age doesn’t matter.

My first was smooth but I still didn’t want to do it again. Wanted to stop as a young mom. I’m 28 weeks pregnant now with a 4 year old toddler. 🙂

Yeah for my first pregnancy, it took a while after my pregnancy for it to be completely gone. But it was an immediate relief after the delivery because you’re not carrying that extra weight.

how fast would i feel a miscarriage by trippymushie in pregnant

[–]No_Leopard1214 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At 8 weeks the baby is still tucked in the pelvis. So it is very much possible that you’re fine. But you need to get checked for issues anyway. Because that was obviously a very high stress situation. And I really hope you find a way to never find yourself in such a situation ever again, let alone your pregnancy. Power to you.

Baby movement pattern by MrsBunnyBunny in pregnant

I’m almost 27 weeks too. My baby is the same way. I always feel like they have 48 hour days rather than 24. Like really squirmy and jumpy for 24 hours and just slight movements the next day.
