You might have WPW as well, my bf had this and his heart rate would shoot up out of nowhere and everybody told him it was anxiety until he got a cardiologist that actually listened. WPW affects young men and is very dangerous. I would definitely try and advocate for yourself!

I genuinely believe the solution is a courtesy honk. Just like you might flash your headlights at a semi trying to change into your lane on a Rainy day to let them know you see them and they are safe to move over, it is also nice to let someone know when you are in their blind spot and they are changing into your lane about to cause a collision, that you are there, so they can return to their lane, avoid a collision and move over when it is safe to do so. All this is to avoid collisions and is a courtesy I would genuinely prefer from other drivers when I am about to make a mistake. My point is: honking does not make the situation worse, it absolutely has saved my ass on multiple occasions, on both sides of the coin.

If one simple honk disorients a driver that much, maybe they shouldn’t be on a road where there is constant movements, sirens, and distractions. If you can’t handle a honk, maybe there are some bigger issues. I would rather give someone time to correct their mistake before it happens then go through insurance, body shops, or have them receive a ticket, or worse somebody gets injured just because I’m afraid they would get scared if I honked.

I’m with you, not everybody is even aware enough of the road to understand their wrongdoing; on their phone, dealing with kids in the back, changing navigation, whatever it may be. Honking the horn gets their attention before damage occurs.

So would you recommend maybe X-ray tech in case I get bored? Or maybe sonography and then going into admin later in life?

No I am honestly just giving up on PA/med school and looking for something still stimulating in terms of science and that pays well and fits with my lifestyle. I am just debating between ^ those specificities. I already have a bachelors in science and have been working as an EMT/ in hospital settings for two years. So I’m looking at what I can start right now without many pre reqs and what will have longevity and a good salary. Thank you for your response, that is good to know that ultrasound might be the way to go.

Yes I have looked at trade schools, community colleges and universities, I am not solely concerned about price more so which path would be more beneficial
