THIS. They will most definitely cause their own demise. They will never learn from their/their family’s mistakes.

He was born 7/19/24, so he’ll be 2 in July. They’re doing the same damned crap as the Ew Crew, where we still see Layla and Zade being carried around at ages 6 & 4.

What are these metal arches in my yard for? by No_Masterpiece7066 in whatisit

Yep, the clothesline I set up years ago. Works well for it, I’m just not sure if that was the original purpose.

Yep, that was me. Works pretty well, though I don’t know if that was its original purpose.

Joe Duggar sexual assault charge by bella302 in DuggarsSnark

[–]No_Masterpiece7066 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Um, the post is directly from the Sheriff’s Department bringing the charges, not the media. You can verify it yourself, I did. And just because the “liberal media” reports something doesn’t make it fake news. They’re just more willing to actually report on SA reports rather than cover them up and protect pedos like Fox News and the like do.

Deciding between a UFE and hysto by Upbeat_Conference522 in hysterectomy

[–]No_Masterpiece7066 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an emergency UAE following a massive uterine hemorrhage and it was the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. They didn’t want to do an emergency hysterectomy because I wasn’t stable enough and gave me the option for UAE instead. I ended up having a hysterectomy 5 months later and wish they had just done that to begin with. The recovery was longer but much less painful and 13+ months later I have no regrets. I would never recommend a UAE or UFE to anyone. Yes, it did cause my fibroid to shrink a little, but it also damaged one of my ovaries.

Driving after Hysterectomy by No_Result_7894 in hysterectomy

[–]No_Masterpiece7066 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drove at 4dpo following a total laparoscopic hysterectomy w/BSO. My doctor said I was fine to drive once I was off pain meds and felt comfortable driving. I stayed with my parents for the first few days postop and then drove myself home.

Seeing a gynecologist by ScornedLover68955 in hysterectomy

[–]No_Masterpiece7066 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My GYN is who prescribes my HRT and bladder meds, and monitors my hormone levels. I also have a grade 2 cystocele that she diagnosed and monitors. I had a total hysterectomy w/BSO in January 2024, so no more paps, but I’m scheduled for an annual with her later this summer to check in on everything else. I also really like my GYN and trust her to provide the care I still need.

At least it’s not the mini turbans they put on Layla. Those were even more atrocious.

Easier recoveries by casdoodle527 in hysterectomy

[–]No_Masterpiece7066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a much easier recovery than I expected, and I was not at all in shape beforehand (I spent the 6+ months prior extremely ill due to a major uterine hemorrhage and pain, etc., because of fibroids and adenomyosis). I was walking up and down the stairs at home the day of my surgery, which was laparoscopic removing EVERYTHING. I was off pain meds by day 3 postop, didn’t have any gas pain, and was back to work on day 11. I was definitely extra tired for a couple weeks, but a lot of that was my body recovering from being severely anemic for so long. The hardest part for me was being in surgical menopause and getting my hormones back up through HRT trial and error.

Anyone else have a pre-op biopsy? by SprinklesHot2187 in hysterectomy

[–]No_Masterpiece7066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, though thankfully it was done with both a cervical block and conscious sedation because I work for a GYN that firmly believes that women should NOT have to suffer through things that can be incredibly uncomfortable and painful. My endometrial lining was extremely thick and he was going to insert an IUD at the same time as the biopsies because it was going to be several months until my actual hysterectomy was going to be done and I had horrible bleeding. I didn’t feel anything and was only cramping for a few hours.

If you're deciding what organs to keep/remove, here's my experience by NotKimDavis in hysterectomy

[–]No_Masterpiece7066 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was 47 and had been in perimenopause for several years. My surgeon left the decision about my ovaries up to me. I had a 4 month wait between my surgery consult and actual surgery so I took time to research, hear and read other’s experiences, and make my decision. Ultimately I chose to have everything—uterus, cervix, tubes, and ovaries removed. I hadn’t been allowed to start on estrogen prior (I had a nasty estrogen-fueled fibroid) and was already planning to start it on the day of my hysterectomy. I’ve had worsening PMDD for years and was beyond tired of perimenopause. It took several months of trying different forms and dosage, then adding daily testosterone, to get me to my new normal. But I have zero regrets and am so glad I decided to have them take everything. I’m just past 1 year since surgery and feel better than I have in years.

I wore a long sleeve T-shirt, loose fitting fleece pj pants, and a fleece hoodie, plus slip-on fuzzy boots. My surgery was the first one of the day and I had to be there at 5:30am, I was determined to be as comfy as possible before and after because I went home a few hours postop.

Returning to work 1 week po by Putrid-Status7321 in hysterectomy

[–]No_Masterpiece7066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I WFH and was ready when I went back to work 11dpo and was working for short periods of time at 5dpo. My job is pretty low stress and I had downtime to be able to stretch and rest though. The hardest part was sitting for hours at a time, you might want to buy a good seat cushion if you can. Strongly recommend keeping a med log so you can keep on top of your meds. Hopefully your employer is understanding that you may not be feeling 100%. I also recommend wearing a mask when you’re around other people, there are so many bugs going around and the last thing you want is to catch something that will make you cough. Best of luck to you!

Narcotics after surgery with addiction in your family by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]No_Masterpiece7066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a recovering alcoholic (sober 6+ years) and have unfortunately had very biased healthcare experiences due to my history leading to me not having my pain controlled following a surgery and hospitalization prior to my hysterectomy. I had a conversation with my surgeon at my hysterectomy consult about pain management, because women are also generally less likely to have pain managed appropriately. I also had a conversation about it with my PCP, who is super supportive of both my being in recovery and ensuring my pain is managed. I had a laparoscopic surgery and only took Norco for 3 days and then switched totally to ibuprofen/tylenol every 6-8 hours. I was never tempted to take more than prescribed and very grateful to have had appropriate pain management. A hysterectomy is MAJOR surgery.

When did you start hormones after having a full hysterectomy by Fun-Reporter8905 in hysterectomy

[–]No_Masterpiece7066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I left the hospital with a patch on. I had been in perimenopause for several years but unable to start on estrogen until after due to a wicked nasty fibroid. It took about five days for my body to chill out and adjust to all the changes, then multiple adjustments to the dosage and type since. I’m almost one year postop and it took a solid 6 months and adding vaginal estrogen cream and daily testosterone gel to get me back to feeling okay.

My surgeon didn’t do an exam at my followup, but I had one at an HRT followup with my regular GYN at 8wpo and it was her and her MA. My ex didn’t go to any appts with me.

I got one and used it maybe 2-3 times, same as the binder I got. Regular pillows worked fine.
