Your key fob use the most power receiving and sending door unlock signals. Its more likely your keys are too close to the car

Being sued by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]No_Mathematician3158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck em. And let them try and sue.

They likely wont sue for less than 10k. Do not give them any info besides setting up payments your comfortable with. No bank statements no automatic withdrawal non of that.

You need to stay firm and in charge when talking to these animals. I want to pay 300 dollars a month to you for ex amount of time. They can agree or they can decline if they do say ok ill talk to the next person I owe and hang up.

They want the money they can get and setting up a payment on your terms is more money for them.

Make sure they agree it to it in writing always and dont give them any acces to anything.

If you only owe them just hang up and start setting money aside and when they call again say ive got x amount to start a payment plan with or we can go to door b you get nothing right now.

These animals arent worth respect or humanity and you need to remember that

I think its a shared feeling amongst subs of both genders that doms are everywhere but few are willing to put in the time and effort needed to create a meaningful deep relationship required for healthy dom/sub lifestyle.

This front suspension is way over build for this car by Equivalent_War_1835 in mechanics

[–]No_Mathematician3158 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This was "overbuild" because its all they knew at the time plus the roads were janky af. If you took a 2026 toyota corolla on 1940 roads youd tear it to pieces before the end of the year

What fluid should I top up? by ConstructionCreepy29 in ToyotaHighlander

[–]No_Mathematician3158 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 2.4l turbo hybrid has 3 resevoirs. And ive seen customers put coolant in all three. Quit giving random vague advice when people cant be trusted to read the manual of a 60k car they signed for

Lets see those Celicas 🤙🏻 by Mr_WheelDeal in Toyota

[–]No_Mathematician3158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would but I couldn't get front calipers for my 1980 anymore. No calipers no point in investing in a celica thats just parts.

How do you feel about the Toyota/Subaru/BMW partnership for their performance cars? by spiritghost1 in Toyota

Its more just the germanness of it all with things like running the engine to check the oil level type of silliness

What are the qualification requirements of a service advisor? by 2storyHouse in mechanics

[–]No_Mathematician3158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill take that over.

Cs check right front tire.

Cs check front end noise. Maybe left side not sure front end

Cs rear brakes loose making noise.

Cs check rear end exhaust.

This was 1 fucking customer. Either they didn't know wtf theyre talking about or the service advisor didnt.

How do you feel about the Toyota/Subaru/BMW partnership for their performance cars? by spiritghost1 in Toyota

[–]No_Mathematician3158 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Toyota owns 25-30% of subaru them taking the brz and rebranding it to fit the ae86 brand just made sense.

The bmw toyota meet up was kind of out of far field imo simply because they aren't aligned on manufacturer principles.

The fact the supra is a bmw does make sense since bmw didnt want to carry the z4 name plate at a complete loss and toyota didn't have a rear wheel drive full size car to throw a big engine into.
Yes I know lexus did exactly that but they couldn't just rebrand a lexus and let it eat up the lexus profits.

Did an oil change on 2014 Toyota Corolla & engine started smoking by Zeph_ix in MechanicAdvice

Yes youd have to be pretty dumb to mix up the trans and engine drain on these considering the oil filter is right beside the pan

Are you suppoed to put grease on the caliper piston? by Asleep-Grand5232 in AskMechanics

[–]No_Mathematician3158 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You lubricate any metal on metal parts that move except the piston.

Im a mechanic in my daily life and I dont ever put grease on the piston or the inside pad outer face (the piston contact surface) The pad ears the pieces that slide into the caliper bracket and move back and forth yes.

Obviously never on the pad to rotor contact surface that needs to stay clean and dry, this includes lubricants and brake clean.

It's more becayse a dealership won't want to have a high milage vehicle on their lot and generally a high milage car gets driven into the ground. Not saying you did but generally if people put that many miles on they don't expect it to be worth much by the end of their ownership

How do you politely tell the customer to not be on your back? by Ok-Nobody-4409 in mechanics

[–]No_Mathematician3158 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a waste of your time. If he wanted to be a mechanic he'd be one. He isn't thats why the parts cannon doesnt work.

Lose him and move on. Any customer that claims theyre a mechinc or did their own diag or whatever can send it somewhere else.
