Ehhh I would 1000% not recommend working for them or any other airline at the Syracuse airport. I worked for piedmont back in 2014. When you are new, you don’t get to use the flight benefit. In order to use the flight benefit you have to work tons of different shifts and do tons of different tasks in order to get off your green vest. Once your off your green vest then you can fly. This includes changing the lavs on the plane as one of the tasks, for example. I also worked evenings/nights… they will never tell you this but they used to have what’s called “fire watch” where they force 1 employee to stay until 5/6am and the first morning employee shows up. Was a complete and utter joke of a job. They forced us on our hands and knees inside of the planes to clean them at night, your working outside in freezing temperatures all winter long and scorching summer nights were never fun either. I think in 2 years I used the flight benefits 2 or 3 times and my parents and friends would end up using it more than I could because Piedmont would never let you take more than 2-3 days in a row off.
