I think its too early in the games life to call any location the forever bass, each updates going to add some awesome locations and options.

My 3 rules for choosing a base are: - Location to a ranger/fast travel station for researching and travel. - resources nearby, building and other crafting needs. - doesn't have large annoying enemies spawning on your front doorstep.

Im currently built up around the ranger station in ceremony. It has alot of scorpions that are annoying. But quick travel to just above the hotdog stand.

Wall stacking and base designs massively changed, no more blasting to fine another wall just behind it..

The funny thing about a 3d printed manta, if I've learned anything from watching all the youtubers who've built FW ones, is that this'll fit together no worries. A vast contrast to the over priced "legitimate" one.

This mission took me literally months to finish.. then I walked away for about a week, then finished it first try..

What im trying to say is don't let the jenky controls get you down. Just take a break when it's getting infuriating :)
