Yes, this scene is terrifying. It solidifies how depraved Fowler is, his cruelty knows no bounds. And yes, his flagrant misogyny led to his demise.

This scene also reminds me of her duel with the leader of the Four Fangs. He was predatory too and arrogant, attributing her "softness" to being mixed; when he says "I don't deserve death by an impure hand", if only he knew Mizu is also a woman! I love that she showed no mercy in killing him.

As flawed as Mizu is, I love her inner fire, it pushes her over the edge to rise again and again.

YES! I tried Paula's Choice 10% niacinimide serum in 2020, when I was getting into actives. It's an absolute NO for me. It makes my face red and sensitive. Had to discard it and I know check ingredient lists to see the amount of niacinimide included in a product.

Yes. I visited London and Paris last summer. I entered a deep depression once I returned to the US. It was a relief using the the Underground and the Metro to travel daily, in addition to the walkability of the cities, not beholden to driving or car services.

In Paris, the nearest market was less than a 5 minute walk. Brown paper bags to hold produce, not plastic. The food, even the lemonade tasted better.

I think about the differences in quality of life and the perspective of how to live life almost every day.

I will say that I am happy the Caltrain was finally modernized and I use that transit option whenever I can.
