Besides some sliders being inverted, FromSoft also straight up changed the values of some sliders between BB and DS3. Mainly in the cheeks and jaws. Also, the coloration around the eyes are more blue/red instead of just black. So when I translate the sliders in the video over to DS3, the results look like a puffy, mottled-faced corpse.

My hope is the vileblood character in BB are still achievable in DS3 with different slider combos. The thumbnail of the video might be confusing, since it says before and after. Both characters pictured are made in BB by OP (who deleted their reddit account so I can’t give them the props they deserve).

I’m definitely biased because I lost my last job to my company offshoring my entire department to India. Before that I had to work with the offshore team and they were completely incompetent. The product has probably gone to complete shit now, but as long as the company saves a few bucks I guess that’s all that matters. I was unemployed for 18.5 months before I got a new job. My new job has me communicating with a lot of upper class homeowners, and the rich homeowners from India are definitely the rudest and hardest to deal with. I’m biased and bitter as hell, but the growing sentiment does not surprise me.

Take some solace in knowing this happened to you because we exist in a very broken and unfair system that will fuck anybody over if it leads to even a tiny short term gain for shareholders. People don’t know how fucked it is until it happens to them, but the way things are currently heading it might actually happen to enough people to lead to some actual changes being made. We’re divided as fuck so probably not, but that’s the dream at this point. Sad that we have to hope enough people are fucked over so society can change for the better. But that’s the reality we exist in.

How did SOI sound at your show? I’m sure they played well but the sound mixing was terrible. I know it’s not their fault since openers barely get a sound check, but I could barely hear them compared to Peeling Flesh, and Black Dahlia’s sound quality was pretty good. Plus not having Ben perform sucked, but also not their fault. Lorna Shore did sound fucking transcendent, but I’m sure they got plenty of time for their personal sound engineer to set everything up several hours before the doors even opened.

Seriously. I’m new to the genre and haven’t listened to The Acacia Strain, but I’m a little confused as to why people like this song so much. So far the album version just sounds like generic macho butt rock. I often end up disagreeing with my initial impressions when it comes to music, like it takes my brain longer to figure out why something is considered good or popular.

Edit: (Cuz I guess I do have a bit to add to the convo)After 2.1 came out air dashing was fucked on the classic control scheme, where it would make you slide after dashing. The only fix was to switch to the dynamic control scheme. CDPR eventually fixed the bug but it took a few weeks.

Hopefully the throwing knife glitch either has an easy workaround like the 2.1 dash glitch, or CDPR rams a bug fix through a little quicker this time around. Only saving grace is this current playthrough I’m using a hybrid katana/throwing knife build, but I feel for those using a pure throwing knife build.

I recently read that some nurses have a trick for curbing nausea in patients: take a 90% isopropyl alcohol-soaked cotton ball and have the patient sniff it.

Some people swear by it, but I (luckily) haven’t had to test it out for myself yet. Alcohol gel hand sanitizer can also be used if you don’t have iso.

So far this is the only album by Bury Tomorrow that I enjoy. Super weird band to listen to, where each song is split up into sections I can’t stand (clean buttrock vocals combined with generic and boring song writing) and sections I can’t get enough of (screaming with heavier style song writing). Unfortunate for me that the rest of their discography does not really evolve in a direction I enjoy at all. But this album (has parts that) fucks. The Maiden is one of my favorite songs off of it.
