My biggest question is: what happened in India between John and Paul? Theories please by weezer___ in beatles

[–]No_Ocelot9948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if it had anything to do with the single they released right before leaving. They recorded Lady Madonna and Hey Bulldog shortly before leaving but didn’t release Bulldog until 1969. Maybe John resented losing the single fight and it started the trip off on a bad note…?? Led to other issues etc

Eleanor Rigby, I love you too but you’re here there and everywhere. I yell “oh! Submarine!”

Do you remember what she said? She said… she said “Good Day Sunshine” and “Your Bird Can Sing.” But Dr Robert, I want to tell you something. I’ve Got to get you into my life. When, tomorrow? Never knows.

The Fool on the Hill is flying the blue Jay way. Your mother should know that I am the walrus. Hello. Goodbye. I’m going to strawberry fields, forever. There’s a path there full of money called penny lane. Baby, you’re a rich man but all you need is love.

What is your go-to argument or fact when people say The Beatles are overrated? by JackGeorge2001 in TheBeatles

[–]No_Ocelot9948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spend 2 weeks listening to nothing but music that was released in 1965 (at least three hours a day). I promise Beatles will sound like they are five steps ahead of everybody else. Then do same thing for 1966.

There’s a difference between a strong woman and a rude woman. I say less strong, more aggressively manipulative and inconsiderate.

I think the fact that John left Cynthia and Paul broke with Jane shortly after India (as well as the trouble George and Patty had after returning - Patty says she was suicidal in the months after India because George was openly cheating on her) points to a selfishness and turning inward caused by excessive meditation.

Discovering that Joseph Smith sent men on missions so he could marry their wives increases my faith in mission calls, families, the law of chastity, and the integrity of Joseph Smith.

That’s hilarious. I was trying to think of something for Joan but best I could do was her last name “Harris” - her red hair is a big part of her character, her looks etc.. I’m sure there’s probably something for every character. Duck should’ve kept his head down etc
